Not the best Mexican food I’ve had, but for a small town spot it does the job just fine.
Ceviche: Get Huge portion served in a giant goblet. Fresh, tangy, and loaded with shrimp and veggies. It was a lot to handle and we didn’t even finish it.
Burrito: Maybe? Massive size, definitely fills you up, but the flavor was just okay. Living in SoCal has me spoiled so this didn’t quite compare.
The place was pretty empty when we came in, but it was late so that probably explains it. Service was fine, nothing to complain about.

Normally, I love La Fogata and recommend it to everyone—I’m a regular, and their burritos are some of the best around. But my visit on July 25 around 2 PM was a big letdown.
My colleague and I stopped by after work, both starving. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito (no cheese, no sour cream, no rice), and my friend ordered a California burrito with chorizo. Instead, my friend got a bacon breakfast burrito, and mine came loaded with extra sour cream, extra rice, barely any chorizo, and no guacamole. Basically the opposite of what I asked for.
I called right away, and the cashier apologized, but nothing could be done at the time. I get that mistakes happen, but driving off hungry with food you can’t eat is a rough experience, especially when you’re looking forward to a meal.
I’ll still recommend La Fogata because I think they’re one of the best in the area, but I hope they can be more careful with orders in the future.

Absolutely delicious! I stopped by La Fogata Taqueria and tried their burger — and wow, I was surprised in the best way! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the seasoning was spot on. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the place had a great vibe. Whether you're craving burgers or tacos, this spot is worth checking out. Highly recommended!

A decent Mexican resturant with tradition Mexican dishes. Very friendly staff. No frills, just good food at a decent price point.
I had street tacos, shedded chicken and birria. Delicious! Service was very friendly and fast. The salsa bar was a nice touch! They have a small bar that is inviting! I wish I could review the margaritas. Next time!

Watery salsa . Waiter not Very attentive to customers needs. They didn’t even notice we didn’t get salsa with our chips. We keep waiving to call their attention but didn’t even noticed. Second time we get this type of service.
