Nice mug but I ordered a seafood campechana, it had more pico de Gallo than shrimp, something expensive. I hope you see our opinions because it is a good place, add more shrimp

I have always loved this place, but yesterday I ordered the fish tacos and found a live maggot inside the taco. A real, live, wiggling around maggot. I showed it to my husband who immediately walked the taco up to the counter and showed both employees at the counter. They apologized and told us there would be no charge for the meal. I am so disgusted that I will never eat here again. I may never eat tacos again. I can't unsee it. I looked at their kitchen inspection report on the Placer County Environmental Health website, and the last two reports showed multiple major and minor violations. Hard pass on eating here again.

This place was so disappointing. I looked at the other reviews for reference. I ordered the taquitos and a few burritos. The taquitos were dry and tasteless, the burritos tasted like they came from a drive thru aldabertos. They were way to salty and just bad. This isn't authentic Mexican food and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

I have been here qite a few times now and, while when busy, it can take awhile for food to come out, This is not usually the case. Customer service is always great, Javier especially but all servers are hustling. The food is so good and authentic. My go to's are the Loomis Burrito or Steak Fajitas. While the Al Pastor is super good as well.
I recently dined at La Fogata and had an exceptional experience. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly staff. The service from Javier throughout the evening was great and the food came very quickly.
Now, onto the food – it was absolutely amazing! The salsa is to die for!! Every dish we ordered was so good! We had the enchilada and taco combo as well as a burrito.
Overall, they exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for delicious Mexican food with top-notch service, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!
