Extremely Disappointed with Group Dinner – June 9 at 7PM
We visited this Black Bear Diner on June 9 around 7 PM with a group, and while the staff was friendly and welcoming, the food left a lot to be desired.
Every meal that came out looked and tasted subpar. The salmon was dry and overcooked, the green beans were clearly canned, and one of the turkey dinners was just slices of cold sandwich-style deli meat. For a restaurant that prides itself on home-style cooking, this felt more like cafeteria food.
We appreciated the kindness of the staff, but unfortunately, good service couldn’t make up for how disappointing the food was. This was supposed to be a fun group dinner, and instead we all left unsatisfied. I hope management takes a serious look at food quality moving forward—this experience didn’t reflect the Black Bear Diner reputation we expected.

Consistently quality food, service and fun atmosphere. Two thumbs up ?? Keep up the good work! I'll be back again & recommend anyone who has not been there before to go and enjoy the experience.
Vegetarian options: All the burgers can be made with a veggie patty. Breakfast has many veggies options. There is also fish for Pescatarians.
Dietary restrictions: The menu allows for modifications and customization to accommodate any dietary restrictions.
Parking: Large lot with ample space available, even when busy.
Kid-friendliness: It's a fun place with lots of bear gear everywhere and theme nights for dinner.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for those in chairs.

Been to this diner a few times. Service has always been pleasant. Food had always been good. But today was not their best. Ham was lukewarm on top and cold on the bottom. Hashbrowns and pancakes were undercooked
