We recently stopped by Bar 99 on our way back to Chico. It was a Saturday afternoon at around 4pm. Weary and thirsty after a 5-mile hike and a couple hours behind the wheel. We were looking for a classic dive bar to grab a couple of drinks. Bar 99 was exactly what we were looking for. We picked up our affordably priced drinks at the bar and headed eagerly to the shuffleboard table. Bar 99 in Willows made a good first impression. The place was clean and spacious. Thank you. We will stop by again!

It's simply your local neighborhood tavern. No frills, no live music etc. Easy going and occasionally raucous. The "basics", but comfortable. You don't have to dress up (at all!) to go there. The "working stiffs" hangout.
