Little Mexican restaurant with big flavors. We had their chili rellenos with rice and beans. Service was excellent. It was a bit noisy, a great place to bring kids. Great value.

Good food, but horrible service and manners from the staff. Drove down to Los Osos from the Bay, and my family and I stopped by for dinner on a weekday. It was pretty packed, but there were 1-2 open tables. We stood at the front desk to be seated, but there was no one there and so we waited about 10 min. We saw some staff walk by us, but didn't acknowledge or indicate where we should sit. After a couple min, when another staff member passed by, my dad asked if we could grab a table, and the lady working on staff waved her hand kind of rudely and told my dad to figure it out. Like, excuse me? I understand that you're busy, but we just wanted to get seated, while we waited. I don't think that deserved such a rude reply. So, we seated ourselves and then it was another 10-15 min to get menus and water. Just kind of disappointed with the poor level of service, overall.

Strangest Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. I’m not a fan of the weird shows on the TVs. The food wasn’t very good, the chicken tacos were excessively spicey, it was the most watery sals I’ve ever seen, even the chips were weird, and super thick. I didn’t even bother rating all the food. I left, and went somewhere else.

La Casita is our go-to Mexican takeout place here in Los Osos. We exclusively get take out, so I cannot comment on the dine in experience. La Casita has great food at great prices. We like the extensive menu with many options for burritos and fajitas. There is no online ordering system, but the speed in which they answer the phone and make your order makes up for it.
In the almost 37 years that I've live in SLO Co, this is by far in my opinion the best Mexican restaurant around. We are all entitled to our opinion. One of my favorite meals is the chile rellenos. Martin makes them to perfection! My meal also comes with rice, beans and a small salad. I don't want to forget the chips and salsa. Martins salsa is so popular, he started selling it on the side. Recently Frank and I went in for a late lunch. I knew I was going to order the chile rellenos meal plus order some for take home. Martinez offered to send some home with me so that I could bake myself. I'm devouring some right now. OMG, Delicious!! The beans are also refried to a nice smoothness and perfectly seasoned rice. I like to order Jamica to drink. Yummy. The menu is large and the food is very tasty. Prices are good. I dare you to complete your meal !
