This place has charm. Food was solid, just a long wait. The said 15 min for the burger, too close to 35 min. Plenty to look at inside to keep you occupied.

This must be one of those hidden gems in the desert, which we have passed by many times on our way to Big Bear Lake, but not anymore. On our latest trip to the lake from Las Vegas, we stopped here to have lunch, and we are so glad we did. What a truly unique place, with both indoor and outdoor dining areas as well as several stages, which we were told is for live entertainment on the weekends. From the moment you step out of your vehicle, you will be amazed at what you see, and once inside the restaurant area, the walls and ceiling will draw your attention to all the old and new license plates from around the world combined with all the unique stickers and highway signs. As for the food, it was out of this world, and not what we would have expected from a place out in the middle of the desert. The staff members were amazing, with a special thank you sent out to Natalie, who was so friendly and cheerful and made us feel like family. All we know that in the future, we will always be stopping at this location on every trip we make to Big Bear Lake.

If you ever, and I mean ever find your way to Big Bear or Joshua Tree via Highway 247. You really need to stop at Cafe 275. Their Barbecue is one of the best I've had in California. They do sale out of their Barbecue, so you need to be there early. The cafe has been featured on Food Channel's DDD. Their snacks are pretty good too.

I picked up some beef ribs yesterday. The super nice lady carried them to my car for me because they were so hot. So kind. They were amazing, delicious, and wonderful. Thank you, Cafe 247.
