It’s a great day when the diner is open and the breakfast is delish. The 2-2-2 plus a side of crispy hash browns with Tapatio, yes, please.

The outside of this place looks like a hole in the wall with a dirt lot, but once inside, friendly staff, food was good. I enjoyed the nostalgia inside. I was in a relaxed atmosphere in which I greatly appreciated as a combat veteran, I recommend.

I live in Lucerne and eat here regularly. Liz is awesome. Her food is always fresh and delicious. Her breakfast burritos are amazing and the pizza is delicious.

I’m mad i’ve never stopped here before since i only live 20 minutes away. Stopped in for a quick bite of breakfast before our road trip, instantly knew we were going to love this place because there was a silverware clock hanging up, super cool. Liz i believe her name was, was running the show all by herself. She was super sweet and kind to everyone waiting. A few people were huffing and puffing but she didn’t let it get to her! Huge thank you to her. We were in and out within 40 minutes, she was busting her butt taking care of everybody. Food was DELICIOUS, i love me a good country fried steak and she did not disappoint! Good amount of food, came with eggs toast and hash browns that were perfectly golden.
Breakfast is the only thing sold up until 11 AM i heard her say.
Stop by if you’re in the area, their lunch and dinner menu sounded good too!

I came to try out the new lunch special and was not disappointed not only was the food amazing but the portion sizes are emense. Definitely suggest making a stop at this place you won't regret it.

Joe’s Cafe has the best food!!! I had a sausage breakfast burrito and it was so delicious. It was huge and I ate the whole thing because it was so yummy. I’ve eaten there many times now and have never been disappointed. Liz is a very talented chef. I would give this restaurant 100 stars if I could :)

What a amazing place!!!! Me and my family where in a long road trip and decided to stop here and let me just say everything was soooo good and the lady working here what a sweet heart !!! Love this place

We stopped here for breakfast as it was on our road trip route. It was very good! We all had bacon and eggs. Hashbrowns were great. Don’t be dissuaded by the exterior!
