This place looks as though it’s abandoned from the outside because of the desolate looking patio. You have walk up to entrance to see the “open” sign on the door. People were even peeking through the window to see if it was open, because from the outside it looks closed. I had a plate of enfrijoladas, which were very tasty. Great Oax style dishes 👌, But in our Tlayuda order we ask for epazote (not included in most expensive tlayuda), we got charged 6usd!!!, for 4 strips !!! 😠, be careful or ask them when order extra ingredients!!

The tlayudas (I call them a Mexican pizza), a huge thin tortilla topped with lard, beans, and your choice of toppings - string cheese, beef, chorizo, vegetables, etc. Depending on your hunger, each tlayuda can easily feed two guests.

Their Mangoneada is a delicious mix of mexcal, mango, and chamoy. It's sweet and salty with a hint of spice.
