Just NASTY,we went because we haven't been in awhile,they only serve in togo dishes . they only sell you bottles if water, so I'm not sure if they are strictly a togo Food was not the best !!!

ALSO IF I WANTED TO EAT OUT OF DISPOSABLE PLATES I WOULD HAVE GONE TO PANDA... WHICH AT THIS POINT PANDA IS A HUNDRED TIMES BETTER THAN CHINA KITCHEN NOW. IT'S SAD THAT MADERA LOST SUCH A GEM. R.I.P. This food use to be the Bomb, Now its Ehhh. When you dine-in They serve you in styrofoam plates instead of the Glass Plates. Also no more Glass cups for soda, they sell you Over Priced Bottled Sodas that you can buy at Food4Less for half the price. New owners, and they remodeled, making the place so small now, feels cramped inside.

China kitchen is one of those hole in the wall restaurants that are absolutely stellar. It’s a restaurant that you take your family, date, friend, and just about anyone that’s into Chinese food. The prices are on par for what you would expect at any given Chinese restaurant, but it’s still worth it overall. The food is fresh and of a high-quality, unlike a certain overpriced buffet here in the city of Madera.
Still, I must stress the fact that it is indeed a hole in the wall restaurant so if it gets incredibly busy, do expect a lack of seats, especially during weekends and holidays when other families dining in as well.
After 20+ years of coming here and new owners, this place has taken quite the downfall. They are being incredibly stingy on the meats and veggies. They barely put any veggies or meat. Being super stingy yest the prices are the same. They made the chicken chunks super small and put less veggies in. They are very generous on the noodles of course. The noodles were very slimy. To fool you and make you think you have enough on there, they spread all the meat and veggies evenly over the noodles or rice... Very disappointed.

Used to be the absolute best. Apparently the owners retired and the GenZ that took over obviously know better so they changed up the food to a cheap imitation but kept the pricing as is & believed nobody would notice.
Sheisty. Not the same, not even close. I mean everything, the orange chicken, cream cheese wontons, Lo Mein..., all the way down to the fortune cookies which used to be thin and sweet now hard, bland & stale.
And then these Z's will lie straight to your face when you ask if there's new ownership, like you won't find out.
Miss me with that. Got no time for your weak sauce.

First time trying out this place because iam from out of town.i was about to eat the pork friedrice I bought and as soon as I was about to start eating I get a egg shell and then a hair on my food had to throw it away I couldn't eat it I was wondering what I would find out next
