Best wine and service in the valley! They source their grapes from the regions where the grapes grow best, not forcing them to grow in the valley expecting the same outcome and then the wine maker lets the grapes speak for themselves! Excellent and hidden gem in the valley!

My friends just happened to fall upon this place and in an unplanned sequence of events ended up spending an afternoon enjoying the tasting room and 2 charcuterie boards. Tamera was amazing and her knowledge was great. I ended up buying 2 bottles of wine that had shooketh my taste buds. My friend got a membership and I’m sure it’ll be our go to place to go when my friends get together. Rachel Stephens gave an unknowledgeable 2 star review. It’s apparent some folks don’t know what a tasting means and they did sell wine by the glass and the menu does say where the wine is sourced because that’s how wines are named. So if you’re considering this winery I 10/10 highly recommend.

Tamara, and her staff were excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly. The wine was very good, reasonably priced and of high quality. The atmosphere and patio were very relaxing and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place.

If you like dry wines, you might like these wines. If you don't like dry wines, keep driving.Visited earlier this month because my husband loves to go wine tasting. I'm not a big wine fan so usually I'll do the slurp thing to taste the notes or take a sip or two and then pass my glass off to my husband, rather than dumping it.I've been to umpteen wineries around California, the US and internationally. This winery gives, hands down, the stingiest pours I've ever experienced. I could maybe get two sips out of a pour. And yet this tasting was $15 for 4 wines, but if you're a party of 6 or more, the fee for the same tasting goes up to $20 per person! Since when does pouring maybe a half ounce into more glasses warrant everyone in the party being charged $5 more bucks a piece? It feels stingy.I went to 4 wineries in the same weekend I visited Crū. J. Lohr in Paso charges $20 per person for 6 generous pours and a free pencil with herb seeds to plant at home.Eberle Winery in Paso does free tastings and yet have generous pours, free bottled water and a free tour of the underground storage facility.Quady in Madera charges $5 per person for a tasting and not only were the pours generous, we tried 7 wines, got to double back on our favorites before we ordered a half case. The server was nice and personable. I have no complaints about her. Overall it doesn't feel like a fun wine tasting experience when it seems like they're rationing their wine. While not the end of the world, there isn't much of a view for the outdoor patio because the tasting room patio is between the building and a fence with a road on the other side. If you're wanting to see vineyards while you sip, this isn't the spot for you. There was also a couple with a toddler at a table - with an iPad, playing a video outloud without headphones - while the parents were wine tasting inside, so just know that kids are allowed if that matters to you.March 2024

CRU was willing to open up early for us to have a team meeting. We were able to have a quiet room with wifi and a small tv to conduct a team meeting. The wine tasting is always fun being able to try wines from different Regions. It’s a great place to stop and taste wines if you are traveling. The customer service was absolutely fantastic!

Had another great experience of wine tasting. This is the reason why we are wine members. Go for a tasting because you will enjoy the wine, good company, and atmosphere ?

From out of if town and looking for a place to try some local wines and Crū checked all the boxes. It was also one of the few that we were open on weekdays in late September. Jackie was great in explaining the different flights and wines. The indoor and outdoor seating were both very nice.

PS

Tried this winery as we enjoy their wines , tasting was good , they gave 4 tastings , charged 20$ per tasting compared to 15$ written in their website, they said , any party over 6, is for 20$ , that was strange …. They don’t have any food pairing but allow outside food . Also they have only patio seating .It’s little off 99 .

I went to Cru Winery with my sister and niece. Their outdoor terrace was very nice to sit and enjoy tasting their 2 different types of white and red each. Our server Alex was very friendly and had a good knowledge of their wine. It was a nice pleasant experience.
