This morning as we were in search for a breakfast burrito in Madera we decided to try two places given we’re new to the area we decided on El Epazote and El Tibu which are minutes apart from each other. We order the same breakfast burrito from each establishment. One costing $12 and the other $11 . Just from the images below one was definitely much larger than the other
unfortunately El Tibu burrito (6/10) was dry and the eggs were slightly over cooked , wasn’t very keen that they used hash browns that were almost non existent.
El Epazote burrito (9/10) didn’t come with potatoes but was much bigger (just $1 dollar extra) and tasted way better. In conclusion I highly recommend you visit El Epazote if you’re looking for more bang for your buck and better quality food. Can’t wait to visit for lunch and dinner 😊

My favorite new spot! The service was above and beyond for them to make us feel welcomed. We decided to sit outside and they let us know they would be right with us and we did not expect them to clean our table outside. I thought that was so thoughtful. They took out order right away for drinks and then food. The food was amazing! Tacos and salsa were delicious!! To my surprise they also had a baby changing table in the restroom. Thank you so much for making it so welcoming and delicious food!

Authentic mexican food served hot. Amazing mole and birra tacos. Table service and outdoor seating..we truly enjoyed the food we were served with a smile. Would go back to try more off the menu anytime. Clean and decorated modestly the food is the star here. If you want authentic mexican this is the spot. No frills just good hot delicious mexican food. Give it a try you wont be disappointed

This place is sooo fantastic. It's delicious food and super fresh. Handmade tortillas are incredible. Everything is just classic and delicious. It's hard to get really good authentic food like this, and I was so impressed. I will definitely be back.

Cute little spot we came across coming into central Madera off the 99. We have tried this place twice and has not disappointed. Their chilaquiles are amazing! Had those the first time. Second visit had the mole enchiladas and were good too! Definitely coming back!

I am in Madera once a week and I'm so close to a more pricey Mexican restaurant that doesn't even make the best bean and cheese burrito so I searched Google. This place was not far so I called in my beam and cheese burrito. I get there and asked for green salsa. It was so damn good!! It was like grandma came down from Heaven and made the beans and salsa. Omg, I'm coming back next week to try something different. Their beans were so good. Salsa tasted fresh. 😋 Thank you for lunch. ❤
