Absolutely worse wine tasting ever. Gate closed. Called and told to come back. When we did , he wasn't there and showed up late. Tasted 4 wines and wasn't offered anything else. Didn't explain about the wines at all. Then charged us..They act like they don't want to be bothered. Will not recommend. Terrible experience
We are new to the area and checking out wineries. Arrived hours before closing time and found a closed gate. Not a good start of a relationship! If I was wrong, let me know. I'll be glad to come again and revise my rating.
Their Sangria is amazing! They have quite a few wines that are very good. Small place, but VERY worth your time! Go visit Tony in the tasting room, he's great!
Edit! They just released their white sangria, and it is absolutely delicious! Go try some!!!!
Good wine to be tasted. We tried a variety of what Tony had opened and were not disappointed. Must stop!!!
delicious food vãi lon
Tony was amazing!! Not only did he greet us upon entering the wine cellar, he remembered us. We had a lovely visit and received great customer service. I love Papago wines, their people make it a great experience?
Not a great experience. The guy who did our tasting was very short and not personable. Didn't want to let us taste the wines we wanted even tho that's what we paid for. Was not at all impressed by the hospitality or the wine selection. Will not be giving this place a second chance.
Picked up some product from here to take it to New York. Very nice friendly ppl. Loaded me in 5 min.

I have been a huge fan of this winery for almost a year now. By far the best winery on the Madera Wine Trail! Papagni Wines has a very industrial feel to it when pulling in, but has a cute tasting room with a very friendly and knowledgable staff. There is not one varietal of wine I do not like, but my all time favorite is the Grenache Rose. This is a gem and a must stop if you are in the area! Their wine club parties are always a blast too!

The experience was very friendly and comfortable. The wine was amazing, I’ve been to many wineries and I can never say I enjoyed every sign wine but at Papagni it changed that! Also enjoyed learning about the history of the wines and how knowledgeable our sommelier was.
Enjoyed the wine tasting experience. Very friendly.
Love this place!
Small, lovely tasting room. Excellent wine and awesome staff! We brought a bus load of 48 people and they handled us well and Ruth and Rick were gracious to the end!! Lyn Awbrey - Visalia Sunset Lions
Tasting room is small and unassuming. That being said, it’s right off the 99 and wine is good, better than most in the area, and fellow behind the bar was knowledgeable. If you are in the area looking for good local wine, and not needing sprawling vineyards and a shady tree to picnic under, don’t pass them up.
