Food it’s not good! Very greasy and expensive doesn’t have good taste! Lady’s are a little rude! Bread its fine but the place looks dirty they got flies inside so that’s a big no no! Not trying to tell you not to go but my experience was not very pleasant!

This place is going down hill for whatever reason it might be due to the economy I’m not sure.? I ordered a Asada Burrito and the meat was super dry and seemed like it was made in the a.m. and regrilled at 7pm. The rice similar. Seems like the burrito is smaller too. They need to change the size of the tortilla they use for the burrito because you have over laping tortilla due to not enough inside a large tortilla. Just go next door to Don Chuey’s his burritos are 9.99 while the smaller half tortilla dried meat one from here is 12.99

Seems like they charge different prices depending on who’s working , I questioned the guy if prices went up cuz he charged me 12.95 for a regular chicken torta but I’ve always been charged $10 by the girls . I just verified it by looking at their menu prices online here and they are $10 for the regular chicken tortas . He changed me a much expensive price for some reason maybe cuz I’m white ? Very disappointed $18 total for a chicken torta and a small side of rice .

This place has THE BEST sopes I have ever tasted. The portions of meat, cheese, beans, lettuce and cheese with their fried masa is sooooo good. I am a regular, and though I now live in Fresno, I drive to Madera just to get their food.This is also one of the only places that I come to get pan dulce and other desserts like flan, masapan, jelatina, etc.Definitely recommend
Vegetarian options: I order the sopes with no meat half the time, and they include more beans, and the rest is the same, but the food is soo good.
