First time trying this famous local gem! We got the sampler platter, clam chowder, shrimp scampi, and Rigatoni a la Norma (eggplant)! We loved everything! Very elegant atmosphere with live musician. We loved our knowledgeable and accommodating server. We plan on requesting him in the near future if possible. We had a wonderful evening!

Solo traveler getting dinner. Nice stop. Food was fresh and well seasoned. Had the salmon featured item. It was cooked perfectly and accompanied the white bean salad nicely. Also indulged in the creme brulee, very tasty! The mixed drink was a little light on the pour, but had nice flavor overall.
Wait staff was very attentive and did a great job.

I recently had a 50th anniversary party in the Banquet Room, and I was very happy with how it all turned out. I reserved my date several months in advance and from several states away, never having been to the restaurant before. But the information online combined with other guest reviews really helped. The restaurant was very responsive to my inquiries and messages. Everything was clear and well communicated regarding the requirements for reserving the Banquet Room.
The room itself is cozy with beautiful vaulted ceilings and tasteful art on the walls. It can accommodate 40 seated for dinner, which is close quarters but not uncomfortable. We were all close family and friends, so we didn't mind being close. The restaurant provided table linens and all plates, glasses, and silverware. They allowed us to come in a couple hours early to do some additional decorating, which we really appreciated!
We chose the family-style Italian dinner, and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, and they were ready with more plates of food if we were even close to finishing one up. The bar drinks were very well made and good quality. The staff was attentive and accommodating and ready to help with anything. They were friendly and patient with our group. I really can't praise them enough.
They even allowed us to play our own dinner music and some dancing music, provided we didn't disrupt the other guests, which we really appreciated!
Over all, I would highly recommend The Vineyard for your next event. (The outdoor group event space looks lovely as well, though probably better suited for cooler weather months!)

Everything was pretty much five star. The only possible issue would’ve been maybe a larger selection of entrées. If I’m ever back in Madera again I would certainly return.

My wife and my sister in law got the Sirachi Chicken and were very disappointed. The other 5 said there were just ok...
The service was very good and kind and helpful.

Best, most upscale restaurant in Madera.
Bread was really cold this last time the special for the day wasn't good. I've eaten here before and don't know what happened that day but not impressed whatsoever. Consistency from a good restaurant is what I'm looking for.
This was valentines day as well
I got here early and was the only customer. Service was great and the ribeye was cook perfectly. The staff seemed busy preparing for the evening rush. I would definitely eat here again.
Absolutely the worst lasagna, it required a knife to slice it, I didn't even recognize it as lasagna. It was obviously frozen lasagna. The extra fresh vegetables(baby carrots) for $2.00 were definitely frozen, squishy & cold in the middle. They tasted like mush.. I didn't even try the yellow carrots, never experience carrots that color. So my $23 meal consisted of dipping the bread into the decent meat sauce served over the not-lasagna.
My guest, lady friend really enjoyed her salmon, it was her that I wanted to impress, so all was good. The service staff was the best, attentive, efficient, definitely cordial.
Ambiance was great, not noisy, very pleasant.
Individual singing did a really nice job!
