The place is really nice, but the service was poor. We arrived at 4 pm and they close at 5 pm. The place was already half empty, yet the staff refused to move us to a table with heating because we were walk-ins, saying the other tables were reserved, even though no one was there and no one came, especially since they were closing soon. A bottle of wine was placed on our table for us to pour ourselves, which would have been fine if they treated everyone the same, but they were pouring wine into glasses for other guests. That was our experience

Toca Madera in Fresno is such a lovely spot. Sitting among the vines with a glass of wine felt peaceful and intimate, like a quiet little escape. The atmosphere was relaxed, the wine was delicious, and the whole experience felt effortless. A perfect place to slow down and enjoy the moment.

We had a wonderful experience for our first California wine tasting. For the price, definitely worth it for 2! Unsure how well it is for larger groups, but it seemed good for the price. It was a toasty day but they have misters & fans that kept us mostly comfortable. A beautiful place. Wine was good but not the best we’ve had

I recently visited Toca Madera Winery and was extremely underwhelmed by the experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is more about image than substance. They emphasize the need for a reservation, which might make you think you’re in for an exclusive experience — but don’t be fooled. It felt more like a formality than a way to ensure quality service. During the tasting, we were “rescued” midway through our pour — a strange and abrupt move that made the entire experience feel rushed and disjointed. On top of that, the tasting only included four pours — and they weren’t generous by any means. For a place that insists on reservations and tries to position itself as refined, their hospitality was lacking and the value just wasn’t there. Unfortunately, the wine itself did not redeem the experience. It was disappointing across the board. Flat, unbalanced, and forgettable. It’s clear their winemaker is still very green — and while everyone has to start somewhere, it shouldn’t be at the expense of customers paying for a quality experience. All in all, Toca Madera feels more like a winery trying to play the part rather than actually delivering. Between the subpar wine, the awkward service, and the inflated sense of exclusivity, it’s not a place I’d recommend — especially when there are so many other exceptional wineries in the region that actually know how to treat their guests and produce drinkable wine.

GREAT VIEWS - vineyard is beautiful. The guys working at the winery know so much about the grapes and the different wines that they carry. I loved that they grew all of the grapes for their wines on the property. I would visit again!

i recently had my proposal at this winery and it was amazing. the wine was great, the service was amazing, and the scenery was gorgeous. our server (marc) was extremely helpful when it came to my proposal and the wine and food we order.

One of our favorite wineries in Fresno, infact the best one , always enjoy their open patio overlooking vineyards, and have attended many parties hosted by our friends there, always same pleasant experience with their friendly staff with the best attitude, Special mention for Fill who is an asset to their business, he is a great guy with a very positive personality and attitude, wish them the best .

Went to Toca Madera Winery for a bridal shower. Completely passed the winery the first time and had to drive a little bit down the road to be able to turn around... Coming from the direction of valley children's hospital, there's is no sign at the driveway to mark the winery entrance. There appeared to be 2 events going on, so signs directing people might have been helpful. Once things got underway, neither event could be heard-partially seen, yes, but that was all. Everything went well... The scenery was beautiful... And as it grew a bit warmer, pop up covers were brought out for the tables-which made things even nicer. The wine I had was wonderful, but I forgot the name-guess I might have to go back for a bottle... Notes of apples, pears, and marzipan (I think it's what I heard). I cannot speak to cost as I was only a guest, but as far as beauty, easy clean up and set up... This really couldn't have been better!
