Went for a bagel sandwich and herbal tea and was very pleased! Highest quality tisane tea I’ve seen in a Mantecan restaurant and the bagel sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese) was above average. Nothing in the bagel sandwich was soggy or overly gooey. The only thing the bagel sandwich was missing was a sauce.
I was running early while going down to Modesto so I decided to stop in Manteca and snag a light lunch.
I don't normally stop at joints that don't put animal protien on the top of the menu, and even worse yet promote vegetarian view points in naming the restaurant. But for some reason the Bean & Leaf Café called to me...so, I went in and had a salad.
It was a 5 star salad. ☆☆☆☆☆

I love this cafés atmosphere. In my opinion, this café is a mix of a coffee shop and a deli. Customers like to hang out here. The staff is always friendly. It's a great place to meet new people or just sit enjoying one of their many coffees ☕️ with a yummy slice of carrot bread, chillin with all the neighbors in our community.
