Came here for lunch and it was overall good, but a couple of hiccups that prevented it from being a 5-star experience. The food was overall good. I got the taco salad (La Compuesta) and while the filling was good, the outer shell of the salad was very stale. It was a bit disappointing as I typically like to break pieces off and eat them with the filling.
The service was solid, but when it came to paying the bill they had misplaced it credit card. It never made it back to me. When I went up to tell them, another guest overheard my conversation and found it on the floor right in front of the entrance/exit to the restaurant. Thankfully nothing bad happened, but that's not great.
Ambiance is nice inside with plenty of room for groups both large and small.
Overall, it was a good meal. A little pricey (over $50 for two meals w/ tip), but at least the food was overall good and the service was good too. This wouldn't be a regular stop for me, but it's a good option in Manteca.

This place is a long time favorite of mine and my family! I’ve always had a great experience with the food and service. Tonight I went with my sister, and cousin (+ordered my fiancé food to go) and each of us enjoyed our meals. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for some good Mexican food, but be prepared to wait for a table because it does get busy!
