Amazing experience! So happy to find this little gem in Manteca. Wonderful service by all, great wine list and flavourful food. We will be back!
We love this hidden gem, the food is exquisite and they have an amazing wine list. Their service is great.
Very nice restaurant for a date night. My pork chop was cook to perfection and the sides were wonderful.
We love Ernie's for a special night out. I had the Surf and Turf which was a delicious, perfectly cooked filet and shrimp. My wife had the salmon with a spicy crust, also delicious. We split a wedge salad which was the best wedge I've had. The Hazelnut Crunch gelato is a must try. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Usually eating out on New Year's Eve is a hit or miss, we hit a home run this year.
Best place Manteca offers, expensive. $45 to $95 a plate plus. Food was great.

The food was delicious and service optimal. The atmosphere was romantic and music went well with the ambiance. Will definitely recommend and revisit.
Our server was not top notch. Failed a few times. Didn't check in after meal served. Ordered desert for my dad's 89th birthday and table was cleared and we waited at least 20 minutes or more.
A very nice “special occasion” restaurant.

It was wonderful to be able to have a conversation during dinner. 😀 Additionally, the service was attentive and high quality. Everything was perfect, except the quality of the food and wine. The steaks were too expensive for the quality. They were not prepared well, nit seared as typically done at a steak house. Wine by the glass selections were limited and low quality. Swing and a miss. ☹️
Everything was amazing from the staff to their service to the food. Went there for our 10th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. If you get a chance try the phyllo orange cake, it was delicious, and I'm not a dessert person. For a higher end option in the Manteca area, Ernie's is at the top of that list.

Came here for my birthday with 4 adults and a 5 month baby. Staff was very accommodating, allowing us to be in a more private area with the little one. Our waiter was very attentive along with multiple other staff, coming to check up on us. Steak was cooked as ordered, medium, it was tender, and juicy and perfectly salted. For the sides we had the carrots, truffle Mac, potatoes au gratin. Everything was good, no complaints!
Everything was super delicious. The waitress we had i wish I could remember her name. But she was absolutely amazing.

Excellent food and service!
This place was a nice surprise compared to how it look from the outside Food was delicious and paired with a really good wine. Service was good and she was very helpful with the menu allowing us to choose the perfect meal. We will be back!
We were here for our 42nd anniversary for dinner and it was fabulous. We had scallops on top of risotto , cream spinach, garlic mash potatoes . Main course was rib eye steak, which was excellent , and the pork chop with berry sauce. We had lemon tart for dessert. Outstanding dinner
