I remember Kitty years ago, sweet lady and very helpful! I hope she stays open as so many good ones are no closing. Maybe if we keep her busy she won't go anywhere LOL. Right? Anyway, clean, tasty food.

Love Kitty's Kitchen! Prices are reasonable. The food is good. The people who work there are lovely and provide good service.

New owners, food isn't as good anymore. The lady taking the order couldn't get anything right. Don't waste your money

Used to LOVE this place. My family and I would order every single week and each time the food was incredible and fresh. We went again after kitty's was closed for a little and noticed that it was under new ownership. My family ordered our usual and the food was not the same at all. The tastes of all the food was completely off and not as fresh as it used to be. So unfortunate bc this place was amazing. Will miss the old kitty's.

Changed ownership...... here's some recent feedback I don't know what happened, the ownership of Kitty's kitchen just changed. Before when it first opened, it was run by Taishan people who spoke Cantonese. They made authentic food and were super friendly and kind. My favorite dish used to be the fried chicken wings and their sweet & sour Thai noodles.... Upon ordering today, we realized the ownership changed after we realized they didn't speak Cantonese and didn't know which dishes we were talking about. We still ordered in hopes the recipes and food would be the same but much to our disappointment, the food is completely different :( Sometimes change is good, but in this case.. I'd argue against it. The chicken was just ok in flavor and dry and the soup is bland. The rice was super oily as well..... To give perspective, the chicken is wings but the inside meat is like breast meat... We're super disappointed as this was our favorite place and was something we would always look forward to eating... we're going to end up tossing the old menu on our fridge :( Hopefully they'll reach out to the old owners and ask for some of their recipes. Here's some pictures of things we ordered.

NEW OWNER MARCH 2024 Angela is trying to maintain the same recipes and has one of the cooks from when Kitty owned the restaurant. That said, the servers are still learning what ingredients are in the dishes. Our order came out in bits and pieces. Shrimp chow mein within 10 minutes, as expected. The rest of our order was forgotten until the owner checked on our table at about 25 minutes after ordering. There were only 2 other couples in the restaurant who arrived after us and had already received their food so they were not busy. The salt and pepper fish and veggie delight with shrimp arrived, clearly freshly cooked but warm as if rushed. The steamed rice took another 10 minutes, so a total of over 45 minutes before all our food was delivered. The fish pieces were small and more batter than fish. Disappointing but will give them a chance to learn and get their act together. Just miss that warm greeting by first name and Kitty's cooking.

New management and kitchen staff did not disappoint at all. Our order was vegan and meat dishes and everything was delicious! The description of Kitty's as 'basic' does not do it justice, it is much better than basic.

What the heck happened to this place? We use to eat here twice a month. The last two visits the food was just alright. Time to find another place unfortunately

This has been a regular go to since we moved to Manteca 10 years ago. We've developed a few favorites, and to be fair, have experienced a few misses. The constant was the presence of the owners at every visit. Kitty herself always stopped by our table to say hello, even if on kitchen duty that particular day. We knew something had changed when we walked in and recognized exactly no one. We asked where our favorite server was, "she doesn't work here since the old owners sold". Uh oh. We ordered our usual favorites, a starter, entree to share and steamed rice. The egg rolls were as good as ever though clearly not freshly cooked. Our entree though was totally blah nothing like it used to be. Steamed rice was, well, steamed rice, in a tiny bowl. We ask for a bit more for our leftovers and were charged full price for a second serving, a far cry from Kitty filling up the to go container. It wasn't really bad, but was completely different from what we previously appreciated. We will be trying one of the other places in town for our next outing.

First time trying this place and the food and portions are great. The food is tasty and the price is reasonable for the amount of food they serve you. I ordered a combination plate and was only able to eat half of the plate. Took the rest home to enjoy it later. Definitely recommend this place.

Very good food, but prices have gone too high. We had take out food today and we were disappointed. We had wonton soup, which was nasty. The broth was cloudy with a strong anise taste and so were the wonton. Also had beef Chow fun that was way overcooked, to the point that was almost like a paste and very little beef. Bad experience, leaving me with the question; where can I find decent Chinese food in Manteca?Parking: Spaces are small and not slanted, making it hard to get in and out of spaces.
