My first time here at la Estrella and food and service was excellent order the trompo al pastor tacos whit pineapple,
2 normall size yellow tortillas wich make the meat taste better, salsas are good us well,small but nice taqueria I will try again and again next time I will order some seafood stuff oisters.

My husband and I went here a few days ago Specifically for the oysters, I was so surprised how fresh and good they we're, I ate most of them my husband was too full since he had the shrimp quesadilla. Anyways I added my own salsa ,hot sauce they provided at the salsa bar on my oysters 😋 friendly staff and restaurant very clean and chic at this Particular location but be aware smaller restaurant and not many seating and tables , this place can get packed

I’ve been a customer here before, but lately, it feels like a rip-off. I ordered and paid for a super quesadilla, but when I checked the order, it was very small — looked and felt like a regular one with very little meat. I even asked them to recheck, and they insisted it was the super.

Previously, they had given me a regular instead of a super (which is much more expensive) but at least replaced it that time. This time, no.

For the most expensive Mexican restaurant in Manteca, the portions are shrinking, and it feels like they’re cutting corners on meat and quality. Very disappointed. I won’t be coming back unless they improve.

If you are taking out, double check your orders.. These guys normally rip off take outs…

Delicious Al Pastor tacos! Salsa bar is fresh, lovely and plenty! Lengua, Asada, and the shrimp... Try it all! Great spot after some shopping or a soccer game!

Came from out of town. The food was great, they had great customer service and amazing natural juices. I got the tropical and the Hawaiian juice they make them fresh on front of you. 10/10

Pretty disappointed, waited 30min for our food, asked for a Super Burrito no beans no rice extra meat and this is what we get and yes paid extra for the meat, I would understand if there were lines of people waiting and we're pretty backed up but they were not. Watching the staff cook and prep your food while they horse around in the kitchen I guess should have been a sign.

Vegetarian burrito was very good, and I've been told that the carnitas was good as well. The staff was very nice as I waited for the food and the to-go order was perfect.
