Horrible experience the lady that works there was rude and visibly drunk she got really close to my face. She was very disrespectful when we asked questions about the menu and was tripping or stuff swaying and just very disrespectful towards me and my friend. I get it’s a bar but being very drunk on the job is insane I will never be going back there again I felt uncomfortable and unsafe.
Food, drinks, and service was amazing! Definitely a come back spot in Manteca!
I had heard great things about this place and a friend asked for a diner. The first place I thought was oh my friends place. Less than zero regrets! The staff was SO friendly and accommodating and the food was out of this world. My Hawaiian friends said it tasted like home.
Had the chicken a waffles it was really good. Great service and a good time.
Loved the food and service. If your looking for a local Hawaiian food joint here's your spot. It's friends themed so that's adorable. There's nothing better that I've had in the area for Hawaiian food always happy to find food from home.
Mid level breakfast, nothing to write home about, breakfast spot in an old bar I think. It was ok, but I am sure there are better places for your buck in Manteca.
First of all they sat us in an area of the establishment that smelled unpleasant, we asked to be moved and it wasn't as bad but still smelled. The food took a long time and was overcooked. The server seemed very pushy like she was in a rush and there weren't many people in there maybe 5 or 6. I will not return.
decided to try a new breakfast place, well this place was kind of un-comfortable for starters, wood tables and super un-comfortable bar seats. ordered the bacon benidict which wasnt bad, holindeau sauce alittle vinegary. waitress angelic was sweet. update the restaraunt is needed. coffee was terrible and please dont call it Hawaiian, far from it!!!!
Smells like a toilet and water damage in the walls . Not much of a menu honestly . The ranch was absolutely disgusting and I’m not picky. Did not taste like ranch AT ALL .

Never had anything less than an amazing experience here. There’s not a single bad thing on the menu. The owners are great and come out to check on you personally. Amanda is the best!

We were there for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Food was cold, burnt, and the eggs for the Benedict was overcooked. The benches we were sitting on in the corner smelled as if a child had an accident on them at one point and it dripped down and wasn’t able to be cleaned up. The service was super slow and they weren’t busy.
I’m the type of person who doesn’t complain or send food back at restaurants but this was quite honestly the worst dining experience I have ever had.

Authentic Hawaiian food, Highly recommend!
Always make sure to stop by this gem every-time l'm in the area. Their French toast is top tier and the other items on the menu are right up there with it. Service is quick, nice and very easy going and the building inside and out is just a great vibe overall with the friends theme. Definitely recommend stopping by wether it's breakfast or lunch.

I’ve been there before and the food was great ! Today I went and got seated after about a 30 minute wait - which was not bad considering the place was on the smaller side, the problem was that after we ordered - WE WAITED 50 MINUTES TO AN HOUR till my uncle had the courage to go up to the server and ask about the food. He was told that if he wanted the food fresh, he’d have to wait since they only had one chef there. Which can be seen as reasonable until we noticed that no other table had food (even the ones there before us). We didn’t even get our food after an hour+ and chose to leave.

We have always talked about coming here, but never could until now. Parking is difficult, but we actually snagged a space right in front. Located in an old (I will call it historic) building right downtown, you would think it to be a bar. When you step inside, you see that they are heavy on the "FRIENDS" theme, hence "My Friends Place" name. Inside is very tight, very old, and could definitely use an interior makeover. The seating and counter setup is extremely inefficient. Very dirty to boot. We were greeted by someone's young son, who immediately relinquished to a very friendly woman, who got us seated quickly. But, again here we are, three diners sitting at a strangely configured very large booth that could technically seat 6-8 if done correctly. People waiting for tables are clustered at the door and staring us down. I felt sorry for the two diners sitting directly in front of the door.
So, our food was ordered, and we waited and waited and waited....We realized that food was coming out of the kitchen literally one plate at a time to other diners. So, we asked ourselves, do we continue to wait or go elsewhere? We decided to wait it out. Finally, one plate (ok part of the food) came out... 5-7 minutes later the second plate came out... and then the last of the meals... Very frustrating to watch the inefficiency of the kitchen and overall lack of coordination going on.
I will say this... the Kalua pork in the benedict was really good.
When they note a "Hawaiian" vibe with the menu, also take it to heart that your entire meal will be on Hawaiian time.... expect to wait a very very long time. At least we can now say "been there done that, not coming back"... Aloha
