This was not just an embarrassing excuse for Hawaiian food, but the worst meal anyone had the nerve to serve a customer. We ordered the kahlua pork plate, katsu chicken plate, teriyaki chicken plate, and honey garlic shrimp plate. Each came over rice and with a side of Mac salad. The Mac salad was smothered in mayo with no flavoring and the macaroni was not cooked. The honey garlic shrimp was overcooked shrimp with no flavor and no sauce. It had some pineapple chunks tossed in to make the dry shrimp look more “Hawaiian” I guess but there was absolutely no honey involved. The teriyaki chicken was not grilled but looked like something a novice college kid cook put together in their dorm in desperation for substinence. The chicken katsu and kahlua pork were passable and by that I mean mediocre at best. It’s Togo Thursday so we got a free item which was blueberry French toast. This consisted of stable bread and chunks of eggshells so this was also inedible. The food at this place is not authentic and not edible. Maybe they thought since we picked up food to go there was less accountability on their end to serve decent food. Though I’m not sure how anyone could serve this to customers and not be absolutely embarrassed. We will not be ordering from this establishment again and will be telling our family and friends to avoid it.

I love this place. Don't get to go too often but have been going for a few years. Took my sisters here for brunch a few weeks ago and got them hooked too. Friendly and super hot staff, tasty food, and I mean.... bottomless mimosas! It's a no brainer really, check out My Friends Place!!!

Horrible experience the lady that works there was rude and visibly drunk she got really close to my face. She was very disrespectful when we asked questions about the menu and was tripping or stuff swaying and just very disrespectful towards me and my friend. I get it’s a bar but being very drunk on the job is insane I will never be going back there again I felt uncomfortable and unsafe.

I had heard great things about this place and a friend asked for a diner. The first place I thought was oh my friends place. Less than zero regrets! The staff was SO friendly and accommodating and the food was out of this world. My Hawaiian friends said it tasted like home.

First of all they sat us in an area of the establishment that smelled unpleasant, we asked to be moved and it wasn't as bad but still smelled. The food took a long time and was overcooked. The server seemed very pushy like she was in a rush and there weren't many people in there maybe 5 or 6. I will not return.

decided to try a new breakfast place, well this place was kind of un-comfortable for starters, wood tables and super un-comfortable bar seats. ordered the bacon benidict which wasnt bad, holindeau sauce alittle vinegary. waitress angelic was sweet. update the restaraunt is needed. coffee was terrible and please dont call it Hawaiian, far from it!!!!
