I ordered bagels on Tuesday while at a friend's in Manteca . They were the worst bagels I have ever had. The sesame bagels were burnt, there were few if any sesame seeds on them and a two year old with safety sensors could have cut them better. I Won't be back..

Update on 4/16/25…Got a sandwich today and the bread was falling apart which made it very difficult to eat. Whoever made it should have noticed the bread was falling apart quite a bit and remade sandwich instead of making a customer’s lunch very difficult to eat! Have eaten here many times and this was our first bad experience, so I’m hoping it was just a bad day for whoever made my sandwich.

Ordered on the app for rapid pick up. Once I arrived, I didn't see my order so I waited for awhile with no help at all. There was a couple other people waiting for their rapid pick up and very confused but no staff seem to care at all with no type of customer service whatsoever. VERY DISORGANIZED & UNPROFESSIONAL. I had to wait in line ( beats the purpose of rapid pick up) waited 10 minutes before being able to talk to anyone. Once I did get a chance, the cashier lady didn't seem to have any care whatsoever. She simply said to ask another staff member. The extra step to ask for my "rapid shelf pick up" was stupid enough already. Finally got my order since there was an unnecessary extra step when it was supposed to be placed in the rapid pick up shelfs. NEVER COMING TO THIS PANERA AGAIN!
The overall layout of the pickup and dining areas is really terrible. If you want to use the kiosk to order, they are located in the dining area right beside dining tables. The kiosk ordering process is cumbersome and confusing to say the least. The dining area tables and floor were dirty. Where you pick up your meal is hidden behind a wall with a sign board to show your name. But it's pretty much hidden, so you must move to a place where you can see that board. There were a large number of people occupying tables that were not dining here.. they were all utilizing the free wifi...and using their own cups to take the coffee and/or soda...someone needs to manage this activity. Even if you can overlook the physical issues of this place, the food itself was really NOT good. Too much bread, minimal amount of protein (meat or chicken), and just flavorless. I promise myself never to come close to a Panera again.

I went in late and the service was just as awesome as when I come during the day. Our service person was really nice and funny. The atmosphere was relaxing and private. I had the Chilli bowl.

I am quite dissatisfied with the customer service I encountered at Panera. I had placed an online order for 13 bagels and additional bread for pickup on Saturday, but due to an emergency that required me to leave town, I was unable to collect my order. When I called to address this issue, the representative was quite rude, stating that it was not her responsibility that I had an emergency or that I failed to pick up my order. Furthermore, when I inquired about why I had not received a call regarding my order, she informed me that they are not responsible for contacting customers.
