I have never had better Sweet'n'Sour Pork than the Silver Chopstick. Having worked at Orchard Supply Hardware around 2000, I used to eat lunch there every day. I have tried to find that same great sweetnsour pork from LA to Oregon and to the East Coast and have been disappointed every time. Every time I come back to town I buy extra to take home for later.He still remembers me and gives me extra food and soda. He a local businessman and his daughter is a teacher. It's not fancy but damn it's satisfying!

The "Silver Chop Stick" is the best place in Manteca for take-out Chinese that I've come across so far. I'm rather new in town, so the list of establishments I've tried is short, but nonetheless, "Silver Chop Stick" does not disappoint!I definitely recommend this place as take-out or delivery only, as the restaurant is actually a kinda dumpy hole in the wall that's not really set up too well for a sit-down dinner. That being said, I'd also like to point out that their customer service is absolutely fantastic! Super friendly folks who are always smiling and striving to ensure that your order is exactly the way you want it. The staff here are very friendly and inviting, making you feel welcomed every time we order. They are easy to understand and great at communicating, so there is never any question about whether or not they understood you or if they got the order correct.Pricing is without a doubt the best you'll find anywhere. Super big portions, always with enough leftovers for at least two more settings. The food is always more than we can eat, dinner for two will easily feed four. The food itself is very good, not the best I've had but still very good.Definitely try them out if you've never been, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely BUSSIN. Doesn't look like much. Very humble. But do not be deceived, this place is DELICIOUS.Moved from the bay where there's no shortage of tasty quality eats and I have searched far and wide all throughout this delta area for anything comparable to no avail... 'til now.Trust me, I've been to more than a couple places with great reviews and none has measured up to this place. I'm done experimenting. While I'm in this neck of the woods, this is my spot. 10/10, would recommend for great flavor, fresh ingredients, fair prices and Wok Hay! So, so good. And bonus, the owner was super friendly too!Please don't sleep on Silver Chop Stick, friends. In this area, there's nowhere better.Vegetarian options: Delicious!

Chow mein had no flavor. Beef broccoli had 2 pieces of beef the rest was broccoli. I love broccoli so I didn't mind but false advertising what it was. Mushroom chicken literally one mushroom cut in half and mostly onion filled the little square spot in the white take out container like you get at panda express. Food was edible but not what it should have been. Could've been a lot better. Waited 5 minutes for them to come from the back with my order. No steam table option ?
All our regular Chinese food restaurants were closed so we ended up at this restaurant. I have a new favorite. The oil was fresh (no oil slick under the orange chicken)and the food was better than any I have had in Manteca.

Last minute take out , rolled in at 830pm. The person that took our order was very nice. Broccoli Beef, Kung Pao chicken and pot stickers. Generous potions. Solid take out choice. Tasty.

Food was just Orange chicken- tasted old, sauce tasted strange Salt and pepper pork chops - so thin, barely any meat. Also tasted old. Mongolian beef- barely any meat again, covered in onions but it tasted the best. Dirty! We dine it and all the serving utensils were sticky. We received dirty sticky plates and all our 5 waters had stuff floating in the cup. Because of that, we bought drinks instead. Spent over $80 for dinner with 3 little kids and we weren't impress. I don't know how this place have great reviews. What a rip off.
