9:58AM March 3. lady was very nice but came up to me and said “hi, I’m sorry but we do have a policy that you have to buy something to sit in the lobby.” I respect the policy and left without complaining. Just because I don’t agree with it doesn’t mean I’m going to make a scene. But I will tell you that’s a absurd policy since I spend a lot of money on coffee and that day I happen to get my oil change at the meineke down the street and needed somewhere comfy to sit. I won’t be buying Starbucks going forward due to this absurdity. Considering I buy Starbucks 3-4 times a day during a work week I’ll just resort to something else. This is BS.
UPDATE: I just didn’t want to deal with it knowing we have 3 Dutch bros coming to Manteca. I’ll just support them going forward. I called Starbucks customer care and cancelled my entire account. I know my chump change won’t affect them but hopefully this helps others change their mind and choose other coffee places versus this.

Dear Starbucks on Union road you guys make a damn good drink but you forgot the chocolate chips in my woman's drink, don't let it happen again. 😠

Do NOT go to this Starbucks unless you want to experience unprofessional managers rudely rushing you to order while scrolling on their phone, and to be harassed by the manager while using the restroom. Their “policy” is to call the police if you’re in the restroom for 15 minutes. Nevermind those of us with gut issues being embarrassed enough, you can count on the manager to announce your timed restroom break to the ENTIRE store. Next time you stop somewhere on a trip, do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE unless you enjoy malicious maltreatment and careless poor service
Decided to give this location another try, but it was disappointing again. It took 25 minutes just to get one simple drink. When I asked how much longer, the young lady, Maria, responded rudely and only offered a refund instead of addressing the delay. I had even tipped, only to be treated poorly and receive terrible service. The staff, including the managers, seemed unprofessional and made a scene when I asked about my order. Inside, the place was a mess—dirty napkins and overflowing trash everywhere. To top it off, the coffee was scalding hot with no sleeve. This location seriously needs better training and customer service. I won’t be coming back.
