I’m sorry, but they have terrible service. They don’t listen.

This Starbucks consistently lacks soap in the bathrooms, and when asked, staff claim it’s “because of the homeless,” which is both an unacceptable excuse and a serious health concern especially in a food and beverage setting. There are no hand sanitizer alternatives provided either, leaving customers with no basic hygiene options. On top of that, the managers are often full of themselves, the drinks are inconsistent, and the overall experience reflects poor training and even worse priorities. I’ve given this location plenty of chances, but I won’t be coming back.

Disappointed at the two workers in this location today. I had ordered here several times and had good service sometimes and not so good service other times. Now, I see all the comments about unprofessional service here. Maria, the supervisor, and the server who took my order and did not use the rewards I said to redeem, failed in providing a good customer service experience. I asked for the name of the server and she didn't want to give her name. Supervisor and another employee also did not give me the name of the server when I asked for it. No smile, no kindness. Maria was on her cell phone on a personal call. I had to wait for her to finish that call before she said, Yeah!!

These two need comprehensive and additional training on customer service. She offered to refund the bakery item, but I just can't bear to stay any longer in that place and be subjected to their blank stare, uncaring, unsatisfactory attitude and behavior. Will avoid this location from here on. It doesn't deserve any stars!!!!

They are very rude and when they don’t want you in there they turn up the music very loud. Very rude and disrespectful staff. Horrible lousy staff.

7 employees in the store, we ordered 2 black coffees, took way too long and spinach wraps were still cold in the middle. Every table was dirty and garbage to the top in the garbage cans. But seems like they like their job lots of laughing and hive fives.

Is this a nightclub? why is the music blasting at 8am? you have seats and outlets for people to do work and enjoy their coffee. It was literally ranging from 85-100DB. They lowered the music down a little after I asked (65-75DB). But if you want to do work here... definitely carry ultra noise cancelling headphones.

9:58AM March 3. lady was very nice but came up to me and said “hi, I’m sorry but we do have a policy that you have to buy something to sit in the lobby.” I respect the policy and left without complaining. Just because I don’t agree with it doesn’t mean I’m going to make a scene. But I will tell you that’s a absurd policy since I spend a lot of money on coffee and that day I happen to get my oil change at the meineke down the street and needed somewhere comfy to sit. I won’t be buying Starbucks going forward due to this absurdity. Considering I buy Starbucks 3-4 times a day during a work week I’ll just resort to something else. This is BS.

UPDATE: I just didn’t want to deal with it knowing we have 3 Dutch bros coming to Manteca. I’ll just support them going forward. I called Starbucks customer care and cancelled my entire account. I know my chump change won’t affect them but hopefully this helps others change their mind and choose other coffee places versus this.
