Blaze Pizza

Arrived pretty fast, I love that they have gluten free options. Everything was tasty

Used to live in Monterey area, LOVED going to blaze to get the “Art Lovers” pizza. Moved up North in 2021, but was visiting family in the area recently and wanted to partake in my favorite pizza while in town. I was really disappointed to see they had TOTALLY rearranged their menu and gotten rid of all the signature pies. I think they only have 6 or 8 now… none of which are even close to the old recipes. Tried to look up online the ingredients, and replicate this last time, but no luck. Wont be coming back.

Attention Mod pizza lovers, this is the same concept where they build a pizza in front of you, but the crust is even better because it is structured and yummy. Immediately upon stepping in, we were greeted with multiple hellos and welcome in’s- that always makes an experience better from the start! After they had put my pizza in the oven, I realized I hadn’t added the crushed garlic and I briefly mentioned it to my boyfriend next to me. The employee heard me and immediately offered to add it and insisted on it which was so kind. As for the pizza, it was delicious- I had a vegetarian pizza, the roasted broccoli topping is the best. The bathrooms were impeccable which made for an overall great experience (p.s. to the girls: there is no mirror!). One of the best parts was the design of the place, as well as the atmosphere. The tall ceiling and windows made the space roomy and “fresh”. The chill indie beachy guitar music made us feel like we were relaxing by the beach as we watched the sun set through the large windows. As for the seating, there are many option. My favorite were the booth tables because there was a comfy back rest (pictured) and were clean. Shout out to the 7pm crew for being friendly, hardworking, and overall great workers!

We usually come to Blaze Pizza in the evenings and always have a great experience—friendly staff and good food. Today, we came earlier to enjoy our pizza by the beach, but the experience was disappointing. The staff seemed in a bad mood, and the customer before us was given an unfriendly look just for asking for a combo of classic and pesto sauce. When it was my turn, the lady making my pizza kept cutting me off before I could finish saying what I wanted and rushed me through the line, even though the place wasn't busy. We were also charged for extra sauces even though their sign says you’re only charged after 2 per pizza—and we only took 2 per pizza. It wasn’t about the money but the overall attitude and poor customer service this time. Hopefully, it was just a bad day.

The employees were not friendly at all. I even asked some how they are doing and they brushed me off. They didn't seem to want to be here. They were extremely stingy with the condiments. Pizzas coming out over cooked and burnt.

I come here often with my family and normally I get friendly people working. But today was different. Maybe it's just the night shift that makes the place brighter.

On any other day or I should say night I would have given 5 stars a cross board. But today the employees failed the customers. It was a little hard to enjoy this so called pizza

Every time I come in, the place is always clean and the service is more than great! Especially CJ, always speaking with a friendly tone and ensure my order is perfect.

Blaze pizza is always amazing. Only thing, on their website, I can never seem to find where to tip the delivery driver. And also wish the pizza could be warmer. Not even 5 minutes in to eating, pizza was COLD. It's a good thing pizza taste good when it's cold.

I've been eating here for lunch since I only have 30 minutes for lunch and it's close by. However, I won't be coming back. Ate here like normal on 12/13 at around 3pm. The guy who was at the cash register was talking to a girl the whole time. I don't care about flirting on the job but he wasn't paying attention to the pizza. And guess what, it came out burnt. This is a pizza place, I shouldn't be getting a burnt pizza. All you have to do is take out the pizza at the needed time, how hard is that? I only had 30 minutes for lunch so I couldn't drive back and ask for a refund. I'm so angry that I couldn't even get the bare minimum of a normal edible pizza. I'm a minimum wage worker too but it's not hard to take a pizza out before it gets burnt. $14 for a burnt small pizza.

Update 8/28/24: Had to drop my review to 2-stars because my daughter and I had the worst experience tonight on many levels. Blaze dropped the ball and what used to be our go-to place to pick up pizza on our staycation quickly became a disappointment. My half pizza was lacking toppings (at an unlimited toppings place...), so small, they gave us someone else's cheesy bread (spicy when we ordered regular), didn't include the red sauce we ordered with our cheesy bread, and my Greek salad was wilted with barely any feta cheese. When I went to get the cheesy bread fixed, it was so small and again didn't get any side sauce. What a shame, we usually have great experiences at Blaze! Not worth the $28 dollars we spent whatsoever.

My first visit to Blaze pizza very good staff clean atmosphere and pizza is very fresh and tasty . The guy taking my order was so kind and friendly .
