Use to come here regularly but became too busy. We came in on my birthday today and I was in disbelief of Horace’s demeanor and behavior. The staff was great and was very friendly while ordering but when Horace delivered our plates first my moms oatmeal he damn near slammed the glass plate down in front of her startling her because he came from behind her then as we were chatting and eating he decides to open up the bathroom door which my moms chair was in front of due to poor positioning on Horice’s part and instead of saying excuse me or anything at all he tried to yank the door like 3 times hitting the side my moms chair and she looked at me all confused and I’m sure very uncomfortable because of his demeanor on top of that very hostile action. Now as I’m not sure as to why he was in a bad mood I do not condone that disgusting disrespectful behavior towards me or MY FAMILY especially on my birthday and pregnant. For how much money we spent for my birthday breakfast this was so disappointing and disgusting. Foods great, coffees great, we love this place but we will never be coming back with how badly the owner treated us! He’s so far up his ass that he thinks he can treat people that way?!?! Absolutely NOT. I’m pregnant as I stated before and that had me shaking in anger ready to leave. Like I said before I don’t know if he was just going through it today or something but hell no are you allowed to treat people that way when your upset or whatever, it was extremely childish and rude of him to be acting that way in his own place of business. He’s lucky my dad found Jesus because my dad showed up and saw the whole thing and even he was in disbelief because Horace is actually cool with him. Happy birthday day to me right?

Had a quick bite with new associates and enjoyed the brisk sunny fall weather over avocado toast , a breakfast burrito, pumpkin bread and drinks!

The breakfast burrito was delicious & decently sized. The gentleman making the burrito was very friendly & seemed to enjoy his job. The older lady taking my order seemed a bit too busy to care about customer service. I received a hot drink & had ordered a cold one. I kindly mentioned it to the young lady, She took it back, I assumed to remake it. Instead, she just dumped the hot drink over ice and handed it back to me. It was gross and definitely not worth returning for. I've been looking for a new coffee shop to make my daily when I'm in town but this is one I will not be returning to after my experience today.

Family and I loved everything we had. Chai Tea, Coffee, avocado toasts, almond croissants (our favorite) and croissant sandwiches. Staff was extremely nice.

It’s a dirty little cafe. Not sure if employees wash their hands didn’t see it. I asked for a burrito and they microwave all the ingredients in a plastic cup then just poured them in a tortilla.
I get its family owed but at least try to make it look clean.

We got the quiche warmed up to go! Delicious and a delightful stop!
The owners take great care and very friendly!

I recently went here with a small group and not only was the place dirty, but the food was disgusting. We ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches and the eggs were GREEN ! I can’t even make this up, the server/cook told us this was normal. I’m shocked that they would hold their standards so low. Never again would I ever eat here, two of us got sick !

Discovered this cafe while driving from Monterey to Santa Cruz. Cute little cafe. Reminded us of a cafe we worked at in college. Food was eggcellent. We got the egg volcanos. Amazing! Also enjoyed their pour over brewed coffee. Would only recommend having either a QR code menu available or simple print out menus, even us two young women with pretty great eyesight couldn’t read the menu on the wall and were told to take a photo of it on our phone and zoom in, in order to read the menu.

Small portions, for what your paying; but delicious.
I wasn’t offered a receipt and I was to shy to ask when I realized I wasn’t provided one. We only ordered 5 items (2 sandwiches, 1 small coffee, 1 juice, and and 1 pastry) and it came out to almost $50, wish I knew how much i was charged.
The natural press juice is $12.50 but there is no signage regarding the price until you’re rung at the register.
The pesto Mayo was bomb!
We probably won’t return but it wasn’t horrible.
