Had the BEST hot pastrami sandwich I have ever eaten today. I was blown away by the flavors and amazing bread. This wasn't your plain, dry, and boring sandwich. I'm definitely going back again.😋

great sandwich shop and highly recommend if you’re in the area! my friend and I were passing thru and ordered the chicken bruschetta + crispy chicken sandwich, both of us loved our orders! fresh ingredients, flavorful, and chill environment. great options on the menu. we’ll definitely be stopping there again when we’re in the area

Best deli sandwiches we have had! The sourdough bread was so good. Great amount of meat and toppings on all four of our sandwiches. The turkey club, turkey pesto, and muffaletta sandwiches were delicious. Such a friendly owner. Wish we had taken photos but we ate them so fast we didn’t have time :) So glad we stopped here on our California vacation. Would definitely recommend this place! Wish we had a local place like this in our hometown.

Opened as a 1 to 3 star deli if thst …Good luck staying in business with a negative attitude towards customers … Mecca German deli was great back in the day for over 15 years plus … now after new ownership have came and gone since the last 3 years have came and GONE… this place will just come and go like the others that have tired to re launched as a deli…

Mecca deli was the best full of great cheese, meats, German food etc.. this new business no longer has much to offer to the customer … no food products on the shelves, no cut meats to offer , no salads , no sausages .. end of story !

My husband and I found Local after a long weekend of moving shortly after Christmas this year. We were starving and our new place was just up the street so we popped in to support a local business! (We are also restaurant owners!) And from the first bite of our BBQ brisket and Hot Italian sandwiches we were hooked! Now every Saturday or Sunday when we’re free we stop in for sandwiches! We’ve tried almost every one on the menu and I have not one complaint! Incredible ingredients, super consistent and just in general absolutely delicious food! The owner is super nice and friendly too so the service is always great. Our kids love the burgers and chicken pesto sandwiches, so if you have picky eaters there are plenty of options! If you haven’t tried it and you live in Marina or are stopping through on your way to or from the Peninsula skip the high priced restaurants downtown with sub par lunch and grab a sandwich to take to the Marina beach or eat it there!

Amazing Burgers . Great service. Everything I've had has been delicious! Video Games are nostalgic and fun. I go there for my cheese and other assorted foods. Incredibe desserts! Find out for yourself.

Had the pleasure of eating here after doing a bit of shopping at the nearby Grocery Outlet. My wife and I split a Tritip sandwich. The quality of the meat and bread were outstanding, the staff were very friendly, and the service was quick.

The wide variety of both hot and cold sandwiches with the freshest ingredients is one of the reasons they deserve 5 stars. Marcus, the owner is personable, professional and always makes a delicious sandwich. The Reuben is absolutely incredible, and the portions are generous as well.Therefore, Locals is my #1 go to when visiting family in Marina!
