I wouldnt recomend. Small portion size to be charging almost $20 for the regular bowl (total was about $18.50). The food was good but serious cheap. Also the service was bad. The guy was like rushing me and seemed really anxious and was giving me anxiety just ordering. It was really not worth it for the price and the feeling I got while ordering. Wont be coming back.

I have been a loyal customer for YEARS but recently the service and portions get worse and worse. The older lady that is the owner skimps you on EVERYTHING. This last time that I was there I asked her for corn on my bowl as a topping and I kid you not I could count the amount of kernels she put on my bowl.... It was about 10 lol that's not even a full scoop. I was ok with her skimping me with the protein because I love supporting small businesses and I genuinely liked this place. However now they're starting to skimp on the toppings too?! FOR A $20 BOWL?! Are you kidding me!? I am never coming back here again. Poke bar on General Stilwell is 1000xs better, the portions are HUGE for amazing quality fish and for 4 scoops of fish you pay $16 a bowl! Don't waste your money here....

It's a poke bowl place, and everything is fresh, but the portions are not generous and the prices are high. It's a shame because they are next to a lot of drs offices, so I'd think they would get significantly more business if they priced the bowls at 30% less.

Seemed to get frustrated with me about certain requests like putting a small amount of ponzu sauce over the top of the bowl. Doesn’t seem to be an issue anywhere else. If you are paying $20+ for a bowl I feel this was a simple request.

I’ve never seen two people so phony. They pretend to be nice but their far from it. When I first went there the portions were decent but it seems like the more you go the skimpier they get. I just paid 20.00+ for a bowl of rice with some toppings on it. May be the last time I go there. Not worth the money. God forbid you order extra ingredients. She’ll pretend to put extra ingredients in but then puts them back. Very irritating

Worst customer service! I don’t understand why they are so stingy on their vegetables! I paid $17 plus tax for a normal poke bowl- it comes with three proteins and they couldn’t give me a full tablespoon of cucumbers? They give you the tiniest of pinches for each veggie you choose, which is difficult to see because they have the area in front of their bar roped off so you can’t get close enough to see what your options are. Overall it was the most frustrating experience and we would never go back. Honestly, I should have just walked out halfway through when I asked for more cucumbers and she added two more tiny slices.
Hands down the best poke place in the Monterey Bay Area. High quality ingredients, generous portions, and very friendly staff. Family run! My wife and I have been going here for several years and will make special trips from afar for this spot. Thank you poke house Marina!
