I recently dined at Alpine Cafe and was absolutely delighted by the experience! The freshness and flavor of the chicken tacos were simply amazing – every bite was bursting with taste. My 12-year-old son couldn't stop raving about the steak tacos. It's a rare treat to find a place that satisfies both adult and kid palates so perfectly. The ambiance was cozy, the staff was friendly, and the service was top-notch. We will definitely be returning soon! Highly recommend Alpine Cafe for anyone looking for a delicious and family-friendly dining experience.

Some of the best casual dining in the Carson Valley/Alpine/South Tahoe area. Got some tacos on a Sunday afternoon and they were fresh, quick, and delicious. Highly recommend!

A gem stumbled upon during a road trip through gold rush country..en route from Tahoe to Yosemite we stumbled on this home run diner. Great home made tacos, excellent guacamole dip, cold cold drinks. Run by extremely friendly guys.
Definitely a great place to stop for a break.

Five star food and service in our one-horse town! Beautiful, delicious Mexican food, and many traditional North American items like the most incredible and gigantic burgers and perfect fries grilled up right in front of you in a charming and spotless knotty pine restaurant. Nice views of the mountains from inside, outdoor seating too! Inside there is a section where you can sit and not have to look at the giant t.v. screen-the only drawback for us-(a plus for sports fans I'm sure!) The owner, Vladimir from Acapulco, could not be more charming or accommodating. They also had a new brunch menu including the best Huevos Rancheros we ever tasted. We locals are pinching ourselves to make sure we are not dreaming, because not only is the food amazing, but the prices are extremely reasonable and the portions absolutely huge. Happy Happy Happy!

This restaurant serves amazing food. Everything is made from scratch so it is all fresh, authentic Mexican food. I had chorizo quesadilllas and my husband had fish tacos - both delicious. Restaurant is very clean with new pine walls, tables and chairs. Super Friendly service too.Definitely recommend you stop here!
