Chicken strips erte old cold and very hard the ranch was spoiled and the guy working was on his cell phone talking in his foreign language (I swear felt like he was talking about me) nothing gets to me more than when I hand him my money then he gives me my change slammed on counter then no thank you nothing. Good luck hope he is on a better mood for you all ?

People hyped this up so much but it was awful. Tried cajun chicken, sweet and sour wings, mashed potatoes, boudin butes, honey biscuits, jambalaya and potato wedges..none, and i do mean none, of it was good and jambalaya tasted like boxed rice with hot dogs in it.

I really like KKC but you have to get there early or they will run out of some items. Also, they have a fish sandwich but they don't make that often enough, so you really have to get there early for that item. I discovered this place after an associate recommended it to me after I had trouble eating and was losing weight. This food got me eating again and I was so happy that it stimulated my appetite that I continued coming here until recently. Last time I was here I got a small order of the 4 piece chicken that includes a regular or blueberry biscuit included in the price. Well, I had a funny feeling that I did not receive it and inquired what flavor I received. The clerk either did not know a biscuit was included or forgot because said clerk went back to the food area to add the it to my order, but I noticed was not the price I usually pay. It was in fact $.99 higher (the price if you just want a biscuit) and the clerk did not offer me a receipt but just crumbled in front of me while giving me a look of disgust, like you made me walk back twice to get your food. I didn't feel like making a scene, aka like a Karen, and just left. I was hungry, just got off work and wanted to get home to eat. But that episode just left a bad taste in my mouth and have not been back since. I'm a very loyal customer and if I feel I have been mistreated I will not frequent that establishment any longer and will not recommend it to anyone. I work hard for my money and if they do not wish for me to spend it there I will go elsewhere. Simple as that, but they have nothing to worry about they get enough gasoline and food customers at that location. Two stars removed for the lack of customer service.
Built into a Unocal that has one of the best looking gas station interiors in town. The owner has really worked to keep up the interior. Chicken and sides are very good. Beats the other popular fried chicken place (that national franchise) in town hands down. Locally owned so you can know that you're supporting Yuba City's economy. We go here at least once a month and are never disappointed. Do keep in mind that if you go too late the staff stop making chicken at some point and they will run out - so make sure you're on time for dinner.
