Really old food. Looks like they cook in the morning and have the same food on the warmers waiting for long as it takes to be finish. If you are unlucky they will serve very stale, old food that doesn't really taste good.American dinners proud themself on changing food often so they can serve fresh made and good tasting food.I really wanted to like this place. Sad.

The BEST chicharone! Both in price and quality! I'd gladly pay more per lb. It's that good. The Oatmeal is great. The Casamiento is very good. The longaniza is great. The Quesadillas are also the best! I wish I could rate this place higher.

Delicious Chapina food and on special days there is marimba, friendly staff ??
I do not recommend buying the Chao mean, it was super greasy, had no flavor, and the fat was excessively abundant, so much so that the chao mean stuck to other strips. The amount of grease was so great that the plates could not hold the grease, it spilled down and stained the entire table.

Food is delicious we have been going to the one in Beverly and Santa Monica but saw there was a new one in Maywood. We have tried it out a couple times and the service is horrible they always have an attitude. Just today we went in but we were trying to do 3 different orders because we’re one huge family but 3 split a part so everyone was trying to pay for their own and they got mad that they wanted us to pay for the full order and not split and we kept telling them we knew each other but some were paying with card others with cards because we all needed to pay separately and they didn’t want to serve us they took an order and then left our food to the side and started helping other people. It was horrible!!
