The service from Jessica was top notch. Super friendly and welcoming and made us feel like she cared. The food was amazing as well which makes this a place somewhere

Food was horrible. Honestly the worst mariscos I have tasted in LA. On top of that I did find it expensive and the waitress had really bad customer service. I guess thats why it was so empty when I got there on a Thursday evening. WORST PART WE GOT FOOD POISONING FROM THAT DINNER. I like to support small businesses and specially restaurants. But if this place does not improve in their food quality and customer service it will not be successful. Hopefully you can take that advice and make the best out of it.

Just drove an hour to Mariscos el Vago, and let me tell you, it was worth every minute! Lethy, The food and rolitas were freaking amazing, and the service was excellent. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, this is the place to be!

Salty and expensive. Ordered 1 Tostada Mixta, 1 Tostada de Camaron Crudo, three drinks and a side of avocado and the total was almost $70!
The seafood was inedible, almost like they soaked the seafood in a saltwater brine to mask the old fishy flavor.
The service was decent, our server was actually very accommodating and was willing to take the food back and replace it however the replacement was just as salty that we had to actually put WATER on the food to dilute it. May have gone on an off day or something but I would not go back.
Also their highchair they provided had a broken buckle so we couldn’t secure our baby properly

Just don’t try the fried fish if it tastes and smells like feces because that’s what they served me and luckily I didn’t eat it all or I would have been in the hospital. Like they should be more concerned about their seafood if it’s fresh before serving it to the customer. They apologize for the bad food and didn’t charge me for it.

This place was great before they remodeled. A lot of dishes was taken out and it’s not the same.

1. The boiling Cajun shrimp lacked seasoning and everything tasted to plain.

2. Tostada shrimp, octopus, with imitated crab meat was nothing special. No special spice or secret recipe.

3. The wings were well cooked and not overly toasted however the flavors was not what expected. The mango habanero lacked the mango and habanero flavors and was simple and just sweet.
The lemon pepper flavor was good.

I would not recommend this restaurant for what it used to be. If you are a basic person and not picky then this would be a good spot. Other than that I suggest to stick to the basics.

Usually I ordered boiling crap shrimp style and empanadas because I love them but this time the shrimps didnt have any flavor and barely had any condiments.
