It's a very small bar but it has a cozy feel to it. On any given night the owners hire bands to play indoors. They did have a nice outdoor patio area that offered way more room and seating. The room allowed for several musicians at a time to play and entertain. Not sure why they closed it up though. Now it becomes too tight in the bar. The owners are super nice people. They went out of there way to make everyone feel welcome on NYE and had free delicious food, layed out buffet style, in another room, for free for everyone. They are definitely special people. It's a good place to hang out with friends.

My friend and I were trying to find a spot to get a couple drinks and this place is good just for that. The bar does have some usuals in there and they are friendly. The bartender was super nice and very entertaining.def would go again. Just missing a pool table.

Total dive bar! A place to go for a drink, watch the game, and chat with locals. I had a great time there. Drinks are priced okay, and bartenders are great.

This place is just what we needed! I've been living in the area for some time and never ventured out till my boyfriend started coming to this area. We found this place looking for a pool table. Sadly, there's no pool table (later told that it's a lot of work having one) but we decided to stay anyway. Even the bartender came up to us and told us to hang out and have a drink. I loved how she went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We've been there a handful of times and already feel like we're regulars. Recently there was a celebration for someone's birthday (that we walked into) and immediate were invited to get food. It all just felt like a family potluck. They have $2 beer on Tuesdays and even the regular drinks are reasonably priced I recommend giving this bar a chance!

Me and my girlfriend went to this bad and and the mix drinks are such a ripoff, for the amount we paid. The owner David needs to look into his bartenders to figure out what they are serving. Not worth it. Just go to any store and buy smirnoffs.
The redwood is a staple to the city of Maywood! GREAT PRICES! And Great Atmosphere, I'm glad that they are open back up since the pandemic did shut down a lot of business. If you want a bang for your buck stop by and enjoy some beers with locals and stay for the good music!
