Don't listen to J. McCrary's 1 star review. The food is very good, as is the service. In fact, Juan was my server just yesterday and he did a very good job. Friendly, attentive, and timely service.
We were very impressed. Friendly staff. Great food. Great service. Nice environment.

I've been doing my SacJobs Career Fairs with them for many years, and they always provide excellent service.
The food was okay, it was overpriced and the service there needs a lot of work. Our waiter never checked on us. We constantly had to flag him down in order to get refills on our drinks.

If this place weren't inside the hotel at McClellan where there isn't really anything else, they would go under very quickly. The tall blond bar tender is trying his best, but the server on duty name Juan is terrible. When I first came to the podium to be seated he plodded right past me like I was in the way. At first I thought I had only mistaken him for an employee- but nope. After I had been standing there being ignored for several minutes the bar tender seated me. Juan didn't come to my table for at least 10 minutes, and then only AFTER the bar tender literally pointed me out to him. But do you know what Miguel did do without prompting? He greeted a customer that had a drink in her hand like he knew her.
The food is edible, but not good enough to make up for the service. However they cut my pasta up like I am 2 years old. Who does that?! It was also slightly over cooked, the cream sauce was pretty much just butter, and the bread was stale. If it hadn't been nearly 8pm I would have walked out long before I got my food. Best part is that I was literally the only person in the dinning room.

I was there for an event, and the place was ok. The event was awesome! It was a cold in the location, and the restrooms needed restocking and cleaning.

Nice inside, burgers are killer. Bartenders are cool
For Easter brunch the food was mostly good. Only exceptions were the tough tri tip and the soggy waffles under the packaged fried chicken for the chicken and waffles. Everything else was great.

Best burgers in this area. The Generals Burger is bomb. They cook it to order correctly every time. The bacon, cheese, onion ring + bbq sauce are a perfect compliment. The fries are decent, but nothing special. But I’m usually pretty full after the 1/2 pound burger to care haha.Atmosphere for this place is ok. It’s dated. But whatever. The burgers are always consistent and service is good so that’s what I come for when I’m in the area. A few good beers on tap, too.
The staff here is incredible. They are always accommodating for large gatherings of coworkers. I've had a few work meetings here and the location is perfect for those kinds of large groups. The food is reasonably priced and is always excellent. We will definitely continue to come here many more times in the future.
