Very nice and friendly staff. Get the biscuits and gravy, it was top 3 I’ve ever had. Eggs needed salt and pepper and bacon had a little bit of an off taste. I would come here again when traveling south for the biscuits and gravy and great service.

I had heard about this place through the grapevine. Many Basque people have lived in this county. Many of them sheep herders. Basque restaurants are a staple of life around here, especially in Bakersfield. The people who started the original Basque places have died or retired. What remains are run by descendants or have been sold to other people that just want to run a restaurant. The feel for what the food is supposed to be like. The feel of family is lost.
