I found this little Gem of a place by accident. Heska and her husband are down to earth, real people who make their own bread daily and choose excellent ingredients. Along with normally priced food! I don't even live close to here but anytime I'm in town I stop in.
Place is great, 10/10 recommend
Amazing place , cool owners, good food, decorated really cool . Thank you guys
Loved visiting this place today, it was a very special experience for us and delicious drinks!
Been driving by this place for over 15 years...finally came for coffee and breakfast this morning after our 20 mile bike ride around Redlands and sunset loop. What a gem!! As we pulled up We met Joe the owner and he was so kind to allow us to park our expensive bikes in the back patio area for safety. Walked in and was greeted by the other owner Heska. We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and café mocha and Carmel macchiato. We sat in the bigger room that had TV on and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. We were the only ones( Sunday morning they just opened up) and enjoyed our breakfast. The owners came over and we conversed after our meal. Very friendly and welcoming. Why haven't we been here before? After 20 minutes of conversation we left and will be back more often now. Just thoroughly enjoyed everything. The coffee was delicious, the egg and bacon sandwich was absolutely delicious. Listen people, you wont find a more quaint and better coffee house and small menu restaurant. The owners take pride in their food and coffee. Great place!
I want to go back to Big Bear just to stop at Heskas on the way. The breakfast sandwich was in the top 3 that I’ve ever heard, coffee was great, service was perfect, prices were super fair. We even let got to let our dog out in their little bark park area. If you’re thinking about stopping at Starbucks or a chain, give Heskas a try instead.
Hidden gem shack, love stopping here for a coffee but they also have great breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dessert options too! Husband and wife run the business, the kind of spot where they always recognize you when you go back, such an amazing place! If you are thinking about trying it out go grab a coffee one morning and check out the options, it’s worth it 🫶
I had a peach and mango smoothie, made custom to order. SUPER YUMMY! Service was awesome, top notch!!! Welcoming seating and tables and very clean. My husband I will definitely be coming back.
During my reunion at the University of Redlands we couldn't find a good spot on campus to get coffee, so we drove over to this place. It was delightfully unique. I really loved the cider with caramel and my wife enjoyed her cappuccino.
Heskas is the spot!

Honestly the worst breakfast food I have had. The breakfast sandwich was gross. The biscuits and gravy was slimy and disgusting. The potatoes were soggy and badly seasoned. I highly recommend you go somewhere else

1st time coming in and we will be back. Biscuits and gravy were full of flavor. Waffle was sweet and fluffy. The decor and feel of the place was like visiting family. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

What an amazing place. The sandwich was delicious, and the ambiance was top level. The proprietors were so kind to give us first class service which included live music and a visit with their amazing dogs. Best day ever!
