I had breakfast there. The food wasn't bad by no means, I just wasn't impressed by the food.

Decent local restaurant. The food was alright, but nothing special. I got the biscuits and gravy which were delicious, but a very small serving.
The staff was friendly, but the waitress never checked in on us after we got our food.

Staff was very rude when politely asked if they could swap out my overcooked chicken fried steak for a couple strips of bacon.

Refused to do so.

Evrything else was very good.

Stopped to grab a bite to eat. Most of the tables were dirt. Ordered the garbage omelet with a pancake instead of toast and a coffee. The menu price for the omelet was 12, which came with toast. To my surprise, at the register, my total was 21.48. WOW! 9 dollars for a coffee, let me tell you this coffee was just a regular coffee, not a Starbucks. The waitress and the cook were having a gossip conversation in spanish, and some curse words were expressed. Honestly, i was not a happy customer and was very disappointed in the amazing small town of Middletown, such as poor service and unexpected total.

Standard breakfast fare. Well made and delicious. The largest table is for six. We had a large group and had to split across multiple tables.
