I adore this coffee shop, which has made its home in an old gas station in the heart of a Middletown. Every time I stay in Middletown to visit Harbin, I start my day by walking to Grinders Steep and ordering an iced latte with whip and an extra shot with oat milk - perfection (also very reasonably priced). The vibe is always friendly and you can tell they have a great relationship with all the locals that frequent the shop, but you’re just as welcome as a traveler.
Was going to stop at Starbucks in Clearlake before heading down to Santa Rosa and I figured I would stop here instead, as everyone said it was the best. One person ahead of me with multiple drinks and only 1 girl working, which was fine. Took our order, cold brew w/pumpkin spice and SPLASH of milk, and hot cocoa for the kiddo. Pretty easy right? Got in car and started to drive away and our drinks were literally water. Both of them. So disappointed :( Wanted to like them but come...
