Showed up expecting the old jolly cone and was pleasantly surprised to have a killer authentic Oxocan lunch! This place is amazing! The lady at the cashier was super friendly and offered to explain anything on their menu. We ordered a regular horchata, COFFEE horchata, quesadilla with carne asada, and torta with pastor. We waited outside in the shade, eating homemade chips and salsa they brought out, watching the groups of motorcycles ride by; very chill place. After a short wait they brought us the best torta and quesadilla I’ve had in my life. Huge serving, and amazing quality. The tortilla for the quesadilla was homemade with blue corn and had an amazing chrispy outside and soft interior. The torta was indescribable how good it was. I’ll be coming back again.

A local gem with authentic Oaxacan cuisine. Colorful and a little bit exotic, everything tastes remarkably good. This would be a standout in San Francisco or LA – to find a place like this in a small town is wonderful.
I came here after leaving Harbin thanks to a recommendation I got from someone in the pools. All I can say is wow; the food here is great, the portions are big, and the staff are super friendly. This was the first time I've ever had food specifically from Oaxaca, and it's also some of the best Mexican food I've probably ever had. This place deserves it's almost-five-star overall review.

So if you where brought up with actual good cooks in your life and you love flavor come here got the quesadilla, torta , nachos , burrito is my husband favorite. Now for people who think salt and pepper are the only seasoning in the world feel sorry for you taste buds lol ??? .

The best Mexican food we have had in years, it’s a family owned restaurant, you can definitely taste the authentic flavor. They opened recently and it’s probably one of the best options in town. You have to try it!My girlfriend is Mexican and said is the best Mexican food she had in the country.
Beautiful authentic Oaxaccan food with sweet service and gracious ambiance at La Mixte Ca. It's a little pricey but the portions are generous and the quality is very fresh. I love the hand painted dishes and baskets--made me feel like I am in Mexico. The blue corn tortillas are handmade.

we went today for first time and omg everything was so delicios we tried the tlayudas and tacos and loved them, and the tortillas where handmade we loved everything, my husbad says he will bring me again soon.
