Update: the business owner reached out to me both privately and on here and made things right. I really appreciate that. It doesn't change the initial experience but it does make a positive impact on my overall feeling about this establishment. After getting terrible service as far as 4-5 workers Including the owner or manger standing around while one new lady struggled to slowly make my sandwiches. After waiting an incredibly long time to have 4 sandwiches made I was told my order was ready and handed a large grocery bag with the drinks and chips I bought as well. I left annoyed but wasn't going to leave this review bc I've been here in the past and gotten ok service, never great but ok and the food is usually pretty good. After I drove the 30 minutes to my Father's house I went to get the sandwiches out for a rainy bday picnic lunch. When I emptied the bag I noticed only 1 of the 4 sandwich's was in the bag. I called and they told me they gave my sandwiches to someone else but I could come back. When I said it was a 30 minute drive for me to come back and I just wanted a refund. At that point the person on the phone seemed annoyed with ME! He said ok we will refund you and hung up while I was still talking! Like oh I'm sorry am I inconveniencing you?! You had no problem taking my money and my time for nothing and now I have to go out in the rain to buy another lunch but yes I must be the problem here. I am so beyond sick of terrible customer service like this, it's much too common lately and with the expectation of a tip after already high prices I think the least you can do is be nice and give good service! After hanging up on me without getting any of my info to refund me or send me a receipt of refund that I was trying to ask for while I was hung up on, I'm sure curious how they plan to give me my money back. The icing on the cake -the one sandwich I did get was made incorrectly, it was missing the cheese I asked for in front of the owner/ manger who watch my sandwich be made. I know it sounds like I'm making this up but I'm not. I feel like I was just on an episode of Punk'd.

I enjoyed everything about this place! The service was very friendly and the pastrami sandwiches were amazing, definitely like the sign said out front, “ the best sandwiches in lake county!” Everytime I go through Middletown I plan to stop here and eat.

two weeks ago I called in a order about 45 minutes before pick up I got there there was nobody in line nobody even in the deli and they didn't have my order at all. Didn't know what I was talking about so I re-ordered. It waited another 45 minutes And they finally brought it out by that time I missed my lunch break from work so figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again. Nobody was taking my order today when I went in and my turn came up to the cash register. I put my soda up there And tried to order my sandwich and she said I had to go to the back of the line when I told them nobody took my order, but everybody that came behind me got to go in front of me will never do business here again place is absolute trash driving to Saint Helena to get my lunch today

Avoid the Roast Beef. Weird Red? Frost bite, rather strange raw? Like A Bad Pastrami. Avoid that too if they have it. Anyways. Perhaps go with a salad sandwich? Etc. Etc. The Oatmeal Cookie Looks Yum. The Mini Bottles of Energy: Really Good. Beer Available. Seats in Back. On Right side of wall in seating area, bottle capper. Good bottled Rootbeer. I Need A Better Sandwich. Great Customer Service. Attentive. Sometimes Flies Buzz (even in Refrigerated Cases). Weird that the Sandwich was Toasted. Not Subway Toasted.Edit: I Never Knew Rare Roast Beef Existed like That. Will Definitely Stop Back in, likely Thursday Again. Stopped here on a motorcycle ride to lake Pillsbury. Grab some sandwiches and drinks. Had the #101/2. Pastrami was excellent..... Nice lean cut not to crazy salty like some places. Not a huge menu but all fan favorites for deli meats. If your in the area and hungry for a deli sandwich it's worth a stop.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread

Every time I go to or through Middletown, I stop by Perry’s and get #20, the Tri-tip sandwich with no cheese, no bacon, no mayonnaise nor mustard, just a little extra BBQ sauce.Sometimes I also get chips.Sometimes I also get a single-serve, factory-sealed beverage.I always use the bathroom and though dated, it’s always clean.They also have deli items like meats cut-to-order, premade salads, etc.Friendly service. Plenty of free off-street parking. Cute little deli restaurant. People were efficient and nice. I went during a lunch rush and didn't wait too long for our sandwiches. They have a decent selection even for vegetarians. Food was delicious. I definitely recommend if you are passing through Middletown.Vegetarian options: They have afew vegetarian sandwiches but you can also customize as well. They also have a nice selection of pasta and potato salads as well as vegetables.
