Driving Deveros
Great place for a delicious meal just south of Lassen. Stopped here for dinner, got the double with bacon, patty melt, tots, and fries. Everything was very good, but the fries were a little underdone, that would be our only critique.
Service was friendly, the order came out quickly, and it was very nice outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

It’s pretty amazing to find such an amazing restaurant like this in the middle of “no where”. The hot dog, the kettle chips, the fish burgers, the salad with home made dressing… You just order, and sit back, enjoy this beautiful mountain and little meadow. Absolutely amazing.

This place pleasantly surprised us! After a hike at Lassen, we came here for food and it was a great choice. Sandwiches were warm, chips were crisp, fries were well seasoned, and the ice cream was very creamy.

I don’t if it was the elevation but the wagyu hotdog 🌭and the Mexican beer 🍺 tasted very good. Especially when you’ve been driving for hours. The Bar Maiden was the sweetest lady ever. I had to give her a good tip 💴.

We left Lassen National Park looking for lunch and Frank's was right before Chester so we stopped here to beat the possible crowds. It was perfect because we also had our dogs, and the seating was outdoors, with umbrellas and plenty of shade, dog friendly. Before anything else they brought out water for our dogs. Fish and chips was delicious, homemade potato chips, and a tasty little side salad hit the spot for us! We will definitely be back if in the area.
Just a great place to stop by as you're driving 36. Or if you're camping as we are, it's just a great place to hang out. Got things for the kids to do and adults. Good food, good libations. And let's not forget about the ice cream.

Food was delicious, staff was friendly, nice view of a a meadow and the mountains, fresh air - pleasantly surprised. My family stopped by on a Monday, on the way to Lassen National Park, it wasn't crowded and the staff were nice enough to make sure my dog had water bowl. The beer on tap looked good but I still had miles to drive. We will definitely eat here each time we visit Lassen National Park.

it's basically open sitting resturent close to RV camp site and cabins. very limited food options and for vegetarian it's almost nothing g except fries and salad.. staff is very sweet,friendly and helpful. they can customize manu here and there. overall it's good..

My cousin and I (myself visiting from TX) were on an epic motorcycle voyage through northern CA a week ago and we stumbled upon this pleasant little oasis with an amazing view, super friendly staff, great service, frosty beverages, and a killer Volcano Dog.
Albany and the rest of the staff were great, they even let us win in a game of volleyball ;)
When you see the awesome sign from the road, do yourself a favor and make a pit stop even if you aren’t weary from travels, its well worth it
