We LOVE Mill Creek Resort! We've visited during each season and every one has its special charm. The most recent trip was during Winter where we enjoyed cozying up in one of the beautiful cabins for a quiet little getaway in the mountains. The cabins are thoughtfully designed and feel very homey. We walked the grounds and found our way back down to the creek to admire the rushing waters that this time of year brings. We were reminded of the fun times we had down there last Summer when we jumped in and enjoyed a beer after a trial run. We're already looking forward to coming back this Spring and bringing our tent to experience the campground area. The owners and staff of MCR are so kind and accommodating. We have only good things to say about this place!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a spot to stay while exploring the Lassen area.

Immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the comforts of quaint cabins. Mill Creek has been a family favorite for decades. The proximity to Mt.Lassen summit makes it a great home base when you want to enjoy the beautiful snow in the winter time. Play all day in the snow and come home to your toasty warm cabin. It’s a great place to bring the whole group as there are several cabins that can accommodate you and your extended family! All this for very resolvable rates.

MCR holds a very special place in my heart. Not only are the owners and staff truly incredible people, but the care they put into every detail of your stay is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. They are so warm and welcoming and think of absolutely every detail no matter what accommodation you stay in. The peace I feel when I stay here is unmatched. I get the best cozy rest (not only because the beds are AMAZING) falling asleep to the sound of the creek. Waking up and having coffee in the peaceful mountain sun and the smell of the fresh air is one of my favorite things on my endless list of why I love this place. I never want to leave and will keep finding reasons to go back time and time again.

If I could give Mill Creek Resort 100 stars I would. I have stayed here in several occasions. I have brought my RV and camped, I have camped in one of the stunning boho glamping tents, I have also have stayed in Cabin 8 on more than one occasion. Additionally, I again have reservations to stay in Cabin 7 for the upcoming Winter Solstice Retreat.
I keep returning because of the many wonderful things this place has to offer but most of all the beautiful scenery and the warm welcome we receive time and time again. I love to see the property in all the different seasons and I always leave better than when I came. This property and the people that work her will always hold a special place in my heart.

From the unique, cozy cabins to the fabulous deck- it is the perfect spot to spend time with friends or loved ones connecting back into nature and each other. I have hosted women’s wellness retreats here for the last several years with great success. I have already booked several dates for next summer! The surrounding area is great to explore and the creek is a the best spot to spend the afternoon!

Mill Creek offers both solitude and a chance to meet kind and interesting folks. The cabins provide a home base for a family or couple to hang out, cook, relax, look out the windows. Campsites are way bigger than elsewhere and well cared for. Access to Lassen Park and its trails (especially wonderful Mount Brokeoff Trail ❤️, imho) is easy; Resort staff are very supportive and engaging; night skies are dark; and swimming in Mill Creek, or picnicking on its bank, is true immersion in Nature. Come ready to listen, look, smell, taste and feel!
Walkability: Level road through the woods, flowers, trees and running water. Level woods path and access to Mill Creek downstream. Tons of stuff to see and learn.
Mill Creek has grown into my heart in ways that it will truly never leave me. I have found so much healing and love on this land; every step I take while I am here feels like walking home. The folks that own and work here have become so very special in my life, and the way they are lovingly tending this special place is a true gift. I am so grateful for the continued outpouring of love and energy that keeps an amazing niche like Mill Creek functional and flowing! And like always, I can't wait to come back!

Mill Creek Resort has been a destination of ours for a number of years when we want to get away from the valley and reset in the mountains. This resort is nothing short of magical and our favorite thing to do is sip our morning coffee on the meadow deck while enjoying the peaceful forest backdrop that surrounds us. Ask your hosts for directions to the multiple spots along the creek that are perfect for cold dips and can be easy to access for those with small children or more challenging for avid explorers alike.

I came to Mill Creek Resort as a stranger and left as family. Jillian and Joe have put so much hard work into creating the most magical getaway that also somehow feels like home. The coziest cabins that are unique down to the tiniest detail,, the most beautiful surrounding nature && hiking spots,, and most importantly the most inviting and special community. I’ve participated in the last two womens retreats here and have left a completely changed human with an unbelievable support system. I’ve camped,, glamped,, and cabined,, and can whole-heartedly recommend each of these possibilities. There’s nothing quite like a Mill Creek campfire with friends and family. I could go on and on,, but I’ll just say trust me and book your stay now. You’ll be so glad that you did!

The cabin was clean and stocked with the essentials. No internet or TV so you can get the glamping vibe and connect with nature and your family/friends. Highly recommend, the hosts are super nice too 🥰we are coming back for sure!
