We stayed at Mill Creek Resort with a large group of 34 people (kids and adults combined) plus 5 dogs, spread out between Cabins, RV sites, and tent sites—and it was absolutely perfect for us.
Cabin #4 was cozy and comfortable, while the whole property had so much space and charm. The kids had the best time running through the meadow, exploring the creek, and riding bikes around the deck and camp. It was safe, fun, and gave them the freedom to just be kids while the adults relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.
This resort really had everything we could have asked for and more to make our trip memorable. From the peaceful setting to the family-friendly vibe, it’s clear a lot of care goes into keeping this place special.
We will definitely be coming back—Mill Creek Resort is a gem for families, friends, and even furry companions.
Excellent accommodations. Great location. Near Lassen Volcanic National Park. 👍👍👍
Fresh air, very peaceful with beautifully clear dark skies at night. Watched a gorgeous moon rise from a clearing in the resort. Walked the trail to the creek. It's hard to describe how soul refreshing this place is. Very close to Lassen National Park, so plenty to do during our stay. Our cabin had a fireplace to keep us cozy in the evenings. We highly recommend this lovely place.
This a beautiful space. I highly recommend it, whether you’re searching for a family weekend outdoors or a little bit of glamping getaway, Mill Creek Resort is really a great pick. I got the opportunity to stay in Glamping site 19, and it’s such a cute little spot. Right near some toilets and not a far walk for the showers. Also, practically on the trail head for the actual Mills Creek. The walk down to the creek is quite steep but a short stroll, definitely not a “hike” but I would recommend slow and steady. The land itself felt pretty magical. Jillian & Joe have poured their hearts into the land over the last 8 or so years that they’ve owned it and the land is really special. They work hard to stay connected to it and really care for it. I look forward to coming back next summer.
We stayed at the campground not the resort....but it was very clean and quiet...and the staff were all very kind , outgoing and very friendly....loved it ... definitely will go back there again...
I stayed at Mill Creek RV/cabins from September 1 to September 3, 2025. I stayed in cabin 10 which is 20 feet from Mill Creek Road. Be aware of the heavy logging activity from approximately 1 am to approximately 10 am. The cabins are very clean and very comfortable. I rent cabins at RV campgrounds very often to get away from the city and relax in a quiet peaceful atmosphere. It was not relaxing or restful. Mill Creek RV has heavy logging operations along the road in front of the resort at different times and typically throughout the night so it's very difficult to sleep. The logging trucks travel along the road at high speed and create a lot of noise and rattle quite loudly so it is difficult to sleep. Every time a truck passe, it will wake you up. The logging operations have been ongoing for several months. So be sure to check with Mill Creek RV before reserving an RV spot or cabin to see if logging operation are occurring. I gave a one star for service because the market and lodge area are closed.
We stayed at Mill Creek Resort for a short weekend trip to Lassen NP! It was the perfect spot! We were in an RV site and it backed up right to the creek so we could hear the creek from anywhere in our site! There was a great playground area just across the creek behind the lodge that was an awesome surprise when we pulled up as we have two small children! The resort was clean and the bathrooms were well stocked and each had a coin operated sagain! The RV sites did have fire pits too, on the website it was listed that they don't but we were so glad to see that they did! We absolutely loved our stay here and would love to visit again!
The cabin was beautiful! Very clean and comfortable, and super close to Lassen. Would highly recommend! The star gazing is awesome from the backyard!
We loved our stay at Mill Creek Resort. The cabin was cozy, the property is beautiful, and fishing the creek was such a highlight. A peaceful and relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back.
Amazing place! Very friendly staff. We were doing glamping. The tent was beautiful and specious, bed huge (king size), very nicely made. Fresh towels, everything super clean. Nice touch with yoga mats in the tent, yoga and Pilates books and some games for the evening were provided as well. There was a fireplace just for our tent outside, the wood could be easily purchase from the reception even after hours. Very well organized camp. Gorgeous views! Bathrooms were clean (don’t forget to take some coins for the shower). Great experience!

We stayed at the Mill Creek Resort for 4 days. Great customer service by Erin, the Property Manager. We had booked last year and had to cancel due to snow. She gave us an alternate date for the summer. Also helped us in many other ways.
Thank you very much Erin!
My family hosted three events at Mill Creek Resort this summer: a celebration of life, a family reunion, and a breakfast/brunch.
Mill Creek Resort is in a beautiful setting with a mountain meadow complete with wild flowers, a lovely deck with shade tents, and a play area for children. Tables and chairs were set up for us on the deck, and barbecue grills were provided for the reunion lunch.
Both the celebration of life and the breakfast were catered. The food was outstanding and the support/service staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.
I can’t stress how lovely our experience was! As one of the event planners, I received nothing but positive comments from family members. There’s no doubt we will want to return!
My family had a very pleasant stay at Mill Creek Resort. We were in Cabin 10 (family of 5 plus a dog). The cabin was rustic, cozy, comfortable, and very clean. Everything was in working order (i.e., stove, heat, refrigerator, hot water, coffee makers, dishes, pans, etc...) and made for a very comfortable stay for everyone. The check-in process was very easy and it was only a 10-15 minute drive to Lassen National Park. I wish I have pictures but it is a perfect resort for young families w/ kids (I have teens). My wife wants to come back w/ her sister and her boys. The play area is a nice plus, the creek in the back of the resort is an easy walk to and the facilities were very clean. Overall a very pleasant stay. The 2 bundles of wood with a very effective ax was as an added bonus. We had such a great stay, once we had internet access, we shared w/ our friends and relatives. Thank you for a relaxing vacation!
We were lucky enough to have Mill Creek host my mother’s memorial, our family reunion and a breakfast. The food was beautifully displayed and delicious. Everyone that attended the memorial commented on how wonderful it was. The space was perfect to honor my Mother and the staff did an excellent job setting up and helping out throughout the entire weekend. We feel so lucky that Mill Creek was available to host us for the weekend. Joe and Jillian are a blessing to the area, we could not of had such a meaningful event without them.
We love MCR! Our 3rd time staying in a cabin, with everything you need, charming and clean. Our daughter loves exploring... pixie hollow!
