We walked in after exploring the forest and not one person acknowledged us or just looked our way or even said I’ll be with you in a minute or take a seat wherever you’d like…..nothing it was like we had on Harry Potter‘s cloak of invisibility we stood there for at least 6 to 7 minutes and waiting for someone to acknowledge us and let us know whether we were to sit down or wait to be seated cuz there was no sign saying so and so we just walked out. So now we will never know if the food was any good because their service sucked.
It took over an hour to get our pizza after ordering it. If I hadn’t already paid, we would have gone to another town to find something open. I realized the waitress was lying every time she said it would be ready soon, because I saw it go into the oven a half hour after she said it the first time.
I wanna know so badly what is the secret to the best pizza ever!! The dough was amazing. The pizza crust so amazing. Unlike any I've ever had. Now no other will ever be good to me. Plz
Tell me why! Was it more like a pretzel...?? Wonderful!!!! Had the b.b.q.
Have had a few items; pizzas, calzone, chicken spaghetti, baked lasagna, raviolis, french dip, philly cheesesteak, salads, soup….. good food good people’s. Just purchased their hat 🎉 I love Avenue Cafe!
Absolutely the best place for a meal on the 26 miles of the Avenue of the Giants!!! Jason and his family and his employees work extremely hard to provide delicious meals with a great vibe and atmosphere! Pizzas, calzones, burgers, and so much more. Do not miss this stop.
A super cute spot to grab a bite to eat. Traveling along the Avenue of the Giants, stopped for lunch. A cute little town, pretty views. Food was very tasty, great portion size!
We sat outside on the patio. Food was great. Amazing location on Avenue of the Giants. Cute and cozy spot for lunch. They are closed Wednesday’s.
Fun atmosphere, great location, food was ok. They told me they were out of onion rings and their cheesy garlic fries were subpar. The French dip was bland and the bread roll looked anemic.
Best in the area, the Bigfoot burger is so good!
So good. My husband and I ate here last weekend with our dog on the patio. We got pasta and pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Lots of homemade stuff and you can tell. Yum!

Great place, excellent lasagna and good selection of drafts. Nice place to stop.
The food was delicious and service was great!
This felt like a local spot, good food, kind service, and they were happy to suggest things to do.
The waitress worked her butt off to have it run well. I was so impressed. The pizza cook was working hard, and so was the man cooking on the grill, he was plating food so quick.
Fun and knowledgeable about the area
closed at 1:30pm on a wednesday when supposed to be open. boooooo. waste of time.
