When I arrived the atmosphere was very chill and had a small home vibe to it. I ordered 4 pupusas, they were not sure if they took the order correctly so they had to triple check and they still got the order wrong. The wait was definitely not worth it. Took more than 5 minutes just to get drinks and they didn’t even bring the waters I asked for. I ended up taking everything to go (the wrong order) because I did not feel like waiting another 30 minutes for another order. The pupusas themselves were not the best, the masa was very grainy and dry, possibly even undercooked. Overall I would not recommend this place unless you quite literally have no other option.

The food was good but what the hell is a $50 price when I could have gone to a better place and paid $30
The Pupusas are to small for the price you pay, the ambiance is like a Salvadorean small pupuseria, the waiter was friendly and very talkative, but unfortunately I got sick for the “Curtido”.

We had been ordering from this place almost every Thursday until my mom passed a way in 2020. Since then we’ve only gone a few times and not on Thursday. You may be wondering why I keep mentioning Thursday, well that’s the day when the pupusas are cheaper, but only the “Revueltas” and they don’t have as much chicharrón/pork meat and cheese as their regular ones. They are around $1.79 (back in 2020, they used to be $.99). Be aware that the prices for pupusas are rather high at over $4.00 each.
I normally place phone call orders but I go to the restaurant to pick up our food. The phone order is easy to make. Last time I ordered, someone called after hanging up to get your payment information. It took almost an hour for our order of 3 dozen pupusas. The quality of the food is very good. I love the cheese pupusas and they have a very generous amount of cheese. We were able to freeze a few and continue to serve it to my dad on occasion until they run out.
I gave “Atmosphere” 5 stars but I have never eaten there. However, my parents have and they didn’t have any complaints. There’s always at least a couple of families eating in and waiting to pick up food.
Overall, I recommend this place—though I don’t have another spot to compare it to. But if you find somewhere with similar quality and cheaper pupusas, let me know!

The food was clean and good anyone who knows that fresh pupusas take a while to make would order ahead of time then dine in
That’s what we did precisely
We also order appetizers and the tamales were good we got both chicken and pork
Revueltas pupusas and Cheese the food was clean and not greasy.
The food did not make you feel heavy at all. The aguas were great we had horchata , ensalada and passion fruit.
Would definitely return.

Worst Salvadoran food in the valley i wish i would have gone with my gut feeling and went to van nuys for some bomb Salvadoran food instead! I waited for 40 mins for pan con pollo and a bean and cheese pupusa! The lady in the front was rude and kept looking at me with hate as if it was competition! Please save yourself from disappointment!
