This place was really bad, it was empty, no one there and yet all the tables were dirty. The food was really bad seemed like it was stored and just heated up upon arrival. The waiters never even asked if we needed something until like 30 min after. The forks that they gave us for the food were plastic and flimsy and the napkins they gave us were stained with red salsa. The food was terrible and service was terrible too, don’t recommend anyone to even try it

I really enjoyed my meal at El Grullense. For much of my visit, I was the only customer. The lady serving me was very nice; service was quick without feeling overbearing. The food was delicious with a generous portion. It was freshly prepared and hot. Everything was clean. Prices were very reasonable.

Omg this will be my first and last time eating there. My beans looked like the “runs” it was very disgusting and very disappointing. Plus there was a string of hair in my tacos. Yeah no wonder there are a lot of parking spaces because this restaurant is bad. I would love to get a refund. Grade F

The lady is fine, she kept the place open 15 minutes past closing for us. Just be polite. The shredded beef burrito was good, as were the beef tacos. The non-shredded beef burrito was a bit greasy, not horrible but not recommended.

I will begin by saying the restaurant and bathroom are clean. Silverware, when it is finally given to you, is clean.
Now, I will start off with, I have never visited a resturaunt were they do not serve fountain drinks??? BUT judging by the resturaunt staff, I can see WHY they do not offer fountain drinks, it would require coming back and catering to a table multiple times per visit, and they do not even pretend to like taking your orders or waiting on the table, the 1st and last time they come to your table? Both visits, They did not ask what we want to drink. Just took our food order and walked away. If it had not been for another couple eating, we would not have known we needed to get up and help ourselves to the not too cold refrigerator of various drinks: canned soda, coconut water, bottled soda and Jumix- juices.. The service is rated 1-star and that is being generous. Im not sure if they come to work angry or if they genuinely do not like the line of work they are in? BUT the staff has been agitated or upset that we are there to eat on both occassions.. Our food came hot and looked good to be honest, the cook, can COOK!! Good priving and great variety (mexican dishes) Other than not recieving my fork and flour tortillas (I had to go in and visit the cook to request my fork and flour tortillas becuas the server(s) never came back) all in all the food is good. Customer service needs a TON of help.

We nodded as we stared at the font of the menu that says open till 9pm!? What? Also, when i looked up the resturaunt on Google maps, it clear as day said open until 9pm!!?!!
They had wrestling on the 1-tv.. resturaunt was comfy temperture.. Mojave tends to cool down in the evenings...
Not sure we will be back unfortunately.. we visit this area 4 times a year atta week at a time each visit...

We stopped here enroute to Vegas from Yakuts Valley after reading online reviews. Glad that all reviews turned out to be spot on! Hearty food, large portions, no squimish picking at food here! The placeay look a tad dilapidated on outside but don't be fooled. Step right in and relax.

The place is quite old and although it requires some improvements it was clean, service was very good and familiar and above all, was the homemade food with big portions. Overall it's a very recommended place to taste the real Mexican food in Mojave
