Original Clyde's Hot Chicken

Visited your location for the first time in a while and went with my husband we had got our food which was good but your staff lacked good customer service and we got up to refill our drink and they turned the soda machines off and didn’t want to let us refill our drinks I’m extremely disappointed with the services provided by your staff

First time trying Clydes. I've passed by many times & finally decided to order something to go. First mistake was stopping here while on the way to a game. Come here when you have time to spare. I assumed food is freshly made but I didn't anticipate my order to take twenty minutes. a group of four guys were the only ones in the building besides myself and no one in drive thru. I ordered the hot cauli, cauliflower southern slaw, dill pickles, brioche bun. Also note they could potentially run of out cauli, I got the last one. Presentation was on point, I got the 1930 heat level. Was spicy good I will go up a level next time. Could definitely taste the seasoning & jus a a lil bit too salty but overall delicious. Next time I will order a meal to try the fries & shake instead of a single sandwich.

Tried two different styles of chicken, neither were to my taste and the rest are too spicy. Food quality is good, friendly staff and clean restaurant, simply the chicken wasn't the flavor I was hoping for

I love Clyde's. The Montclair location is the absolute WORST. However, the Placentia location is the ABSOLUTE BEST. They have the best customer service. If you love Clyde's as much as I do, go to the Placentia location; you won't be disappointed.

Been coming here for years and love it so much! But currently we Tried to make an order over the phone but because it’s over $60 they couldn’t take the order told us to order online. Tried online order can’t order the hottest level they have and it wouldn’t take any payment method we input. Went to the store told them the problems we had and placed order there . Order was ready fast as store had no other customers on a Sunday around 7 pm also all outside lights were off but the small open side. Really like this hot chicken place but very confused on having a hard time placing an order…..here’s to hoping order placement gets easier soon!

Good food but super slow service, over 35 min for some fried chicken and fries ?

There combos are too damn high$$ close to $20 bucks for a combo Ridiculous!!! And there slow waiting 45m for my food!! Next time chic fillay!!

The food took a while to get despite no line, but I would assume its made to order. Now the chicken itself honestly isn't that seasoned not as big, and the sandwich doesn't have a sauce so its pretty dry even with the cole slaw. My biggest gripe is that the place is so expensive compared to other places both locally and as chain. 15$ basically for a sandwich by itself no drink no fry??? Thats pretty nuts, overall mid sandwich go to chilis for triple drippers or the 3 for me instead.

Been going since it opened its really good an different from other hot chicken seasonings but recently the sauce is water down and chicken was under seasoned hopefully they become consistent again

We have been to Clyde's before and enjoyed the food. My only complaint this time is that they forgot my daughter's fries ??. But the food was good.

Do not recommend this place, the food took forever and the food was extremely cold. Not to mention that just for two people it was nearly $50 that’s just crazy. The mac and cheese was cold and it was overcooked. 1/10
