Check your receipts people, actually ask for one so you can see for yourself. They charged me more than what was listed on the menu for one of my items and when questioned I was told without hesitation or even looking into it that it was tax. Nope, tax is not $2 for an item that's listed at $9.99 on their menu. Cashier reviews her tablet for the item and states that is what they have it priced at in their system and the menu is wrong. Additionally there was a mystery surcharge of over a dollar but no itemization as to what it was, and no it was not the tax because the tax was itemized on a separate line. My best guess is they processed their own gratuity, at a nominal fee so the customer doesn't notice it much, without my consent or their system even asking for it. Not cool and shady to say the least. If you want people to tip ask for it up front, we are more than happy to do it when given the chance to do so of our own free will. Also be transparent and honest about your menu item prices, you either made an honest mistake but then didn't want to correct it and credit me or you're just shady with the bait and switch. Also I checked the prices on Doordash and the DoorDash prices for what I ordered match what's on the menu. I could have just ordered it on Doordash and gotten it cheaper than going in person.
I went for a Menudo and I asked them if they had grains and they told me yes, what was my surprise that when I'm eating the Menudo they put the pozole grains in it and then they left out some bones from the pozole. The truth is I wasn't thinking of going there anymore because the last few times I've gone the food no longer tastes the same and it also seems to me that it's very expensive for how simple and tasteless the food is now!! THE TRUTH IT IS BETTER THAT THEY GO TO ANOTHER PLACE I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN

I want to give this place a 5 star. But the way they treat their customers is horrible. I am in the area often and try to support the local restaurants. I used to come here often, but tonight is the last straw. The food is decent, but for 14 bux, they only give you 2 flatas with some beans and rice. It's a really small portion. The asada fries are good if you ask them to make the fries crispy, but only 1 of the ladies will do it for me. They others say okay, but the fries are just regular fried. The first time they did me wrong was when we ordered food, but they charged us more than the price on the menu. Please check your receipt when you eat here. Tonight was the last time. We ordered asada fries on the phone, when we got there, they didn't even start on the order. We waited like 20 minutes for the order. We got home and we were met with half fries cook, half fries raw. You can see in the picture the pale fries and the regular fries. They didn't give us any of the usual toppings either. No onions, cilantro, salsa... nothing. Just asada and really strong smelling cheese. It was so bad my wife went back to show them and leave it with them. No thanks... I highly advise to go somewhere else. This place is just plain and inconsistent. Bright points is the place looks really clean. Bad point, if you look at the hot plates and meat storage at the front counter, they cover it with plastic that looks like it melted into the food. It can't be good for your health.

I bought a cemita of palisade beef and apparently they used the same oil with which they fry the fish since it tasted like fish, the horchata apparently is from a machine or was a mix but it has no flavor, the other food is not good either and is They take a long time. Well this was my experience

Very unorganized, not worth the money, charge way too much for basic food. Better food and prices at other restaurants!

My first time trying it and I could easily say, I will be back to try more of their dishes. The pambazo Is so good, not skimpy on the filling and overall delicious. The spicy sauce they give you compliments it well. The horchata is homemade and taste really good.

It doesn't taste good, the place doesn't have air conditioning, it's very hot inside the restaurant, it doesn't have a soda machine and the food is a little greasy.

Got asada and potato tacos from their taco stand and none of the food had flavor, not even their salsa. The only thing that had a good flavor was their pina drink.

Great place to visit for authentic Mexican food. This store has Menudo made and ready to go seven days a week. You can even get it with Pig’s feet if you are into that. The staff here was very nice and worked with my limited Spanish. Give them a visit and you will not be disappointed.
