They have very rude, disrespectful and racist male Indonesian server. The one that hold restaurant key when manager going somewhere.I hope the owner aware of this. It happens to me personally. They badmouthing me with their mother language (Indonesia). Luckily. I know exactly what it means. So I just walk away and go. I don't want to confront them and asking for explanations. Because I respect them even when they have very bad attitude. For the owner or whoever in charge You need to choose your staff carefully. You lost customer for life.

Amazing service, amazing food, and wonderful ambiance. It's so much nicer inside than outside. I had been here last December for lunch with coworkers. Today I brought my family and they absolutely loved it. They offered lunch specials today even on a Sunday and Holiday. I'm shocked they don't have 5 stars. Way better than Benihana for sure. You must try it for yourselves.

Food has been great every time I've gone there. We celebrate a lot of birthdays there and they always come over and seeing and make it a fun atmosphere.

Food is always delicious with so much flavor. Julian is always so helpful and brings such a positive atmosphere. Love this spot, I've been here a handful of times now and it's always a great experience.

The chef was great and his food was great which is the ONLY reason for the 3 stars. The hostess sat us at a table by ourselves, which was weird because there was only 2 of us. The chef was still fun and we appreciated it. The service was ok. Being a table of only 2, the waiter seemed more concerned about the table with more people next to us. At the conclusion of our meal, the waiter brought me the bill with a scan QR code at the bottom for payment. I proceeded to pay using Apple Pay and received confirmation of full payment. We got up to leave and said goodbye. No one indicated that they needed to see my receipt for payment. We get outside and I was already to my car when the waiter comes running out and says “you need to come back in and pay”. I was completely confused because I had paid. The waiter made me come back inside and took me over to the manager where I had to prove by pulling my receipt up again on my phone. He said ok and let me go. It was embarrassing and ruined our experience. Don’t offer that type of a pay option if you’re going to chase your customers out the door. With what they charge for food, I would think that they could update to a better system and more polite customer service. The manager and waiter should have apologized. It was very frustrating and embarrassing.

Food was good. Not $320 good. Server was busy. Not to me and my table busy. Tip was automatic. Each check paid large tip. The setting is family and friends. I did see a few on dates. I personally, wouldnt have given a tip over $35 when I spent so much time requesting refills, napkins etc. $2.99 for fried rice instead of steam rice. Fee not disclosed before order. Not sure of a next time. Must wait for my frustrations to calm. I do not enjoy nontransparentcy when it comes to bill.

Everything was so amazing for my visit here. Ribeye steak medium well was tender and the sides were phenomenal. Our server was Julian! I have tons to say. Super welcoming , super respectful , and he was extremely patient with my 4 year old daughter who happened to spill alittle food lol . Definitely going back not only cause the food but the polite gentleman who served us. Thanks guys!

Came here for a late bite to eat. Tried their sushi, shrimp noodles and fried rice. Food was delicious. Business was clean and staff was friendly. Will definitely come back here to try their teppan steak.

This place is fantastic. Great food and atmosphere. One of the best places that I've had the opportunity to eat at in Montclair. The staff was incredibly attentive without being overwhelming. I don't think we asked for one thing while we were there. 10/10 would recommend!

I've been going here for 30 years now n it's been tradition 2 go every Valentines since 2000 when my hubby proposed till covid hit then there was new management n unfortunately everything went down from service to food, they did make the place look nicer wth new paint n walls n decor which is why it's so expensive but they give u less food, less choices, less show, it's just sad.... I really miss the old TK

I've been coming here since I was a kid, my grandma would bring us here to celebrate birthdays, good grades, or just to spoil us with our favorite place to eat!! We were STRESSEDDD when it had closed shortly. Luckily, the new owner gave it a beautiful remodel and kept the same menu and great tasting food! We drive about 30 mins to get here and we're never disappointed. Everyone here is always so kind and lively, the cooks and servers always have such great energy! It was my boyfriend's first time here and the cook put on such a good show my bf was laughing and very impressed lol. Can't wait to come back :)

Customer service was horrible and they had the nerves to automatically take a tip out. Our party was there approximately two and a half hours. I ordered appetizers and received one after the food was served and another when we were packing up to go. The "chef" did not give us a show or talk to us. Never again will you get my $250 and that was for 3 people.
