Very unique place, authentic Gatsby vibe, dinners were fantastic, very friendly staff, location on the river perfect for paddling, kayaking etc .
Location is amazing.
Rooms leave something to be desired, as the beds are not super comfortable.
Pricey for what it is.
Fabulous place to stay. On the river with a private dock with kayaks and paddle boards. Lots of day beds and lounging areas. Really good restaurant and bar. We listened to live music and had a great time. Very relaxing. We go every summer. Can't wait until next year
Such a cute place. Great location, right on the river with lots of activities. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Would love to come and stay more than one night.
Great view! Potentially a great experience if they had more present help, maybe more hands on deck too? They comped me my meal which was noble of them, because 4min per side shouldn't take 50 min to get to me. I didn't have time to enjoy it, and it was Denny's quality at best ($20 quality, not $43). Not to mention it's served on a bed of French fries, enough to take up the entirety of the plate. Have you ever tried to cut a steak on top of crisped, room temperature fries? Impossible, without making a mess, especially on a wobbly table. I had to put my drink on a different table while I frantically sawed through my steak sending fries everywhere. Then as I was leaving in a rush I bonked the drink bearing table, which was also wobbly, spilling the drink and accidentally breaking the glass. I felt terrible and yet it seemed like a natural consequence, I was over it before I was out the door. Apologies for the mess and for the pressure that sweet bar tender lady was under. It all seemed like a perfect storm.
The experience was really good!! Had a lot a fun on the river. Relaxing by the water while the sun sets was amazing.
A few things I would say!
$50pp to access Boho Manor.
We had a woman who seemed to work as a waitress/bartender/hostess, who seemed to not like our presence...
She seemed a bit cold towards us when taking our drink orders and her tone was really off in my opinion. My friend agreed when I spoke to him about it. A side note she also completely forgot our 2 drinks we ordered with our dinner, I had to remind her after we had received our dinner.
There was another woman who was quite passive aggressive towards us when we entered. We were under the impression that we could enter for free, and we didn't know about the $50 fee, but she treated us like we were trying to scam them and enter for free.
Both my Fiancé's and friend's cards were charged twice for the same drink, so we're waiting on whether further action needs to be taken.
Overall, it was a good experience! I was expecting to be able to stay, hang out, buy drinks and dinner without the entrance fee, and to be honest that was disappointing.
The walls are a thin so people partying late made it a little hard to fall asleep. Otherwise incredible location and vibe from Boho Manor.
Such a sweet little spot on the river. Quiet and charming with delicious food and cocktails. We'll definitely return.
I had my birthday weekend at Boho Manor and the staff (especially Lori) did everything they could do make it fantastic! The property is beautiful and has such a great river front spot! Having the private dock to hang out on and swim/float at all day was amazing, and the fact that it’s dog friendly was a huge plus! The restaurant has great food, the bar is so cute with delicious drinks, and the atmosphere was very old money river town vibes. We’ll definitely be back!
My mom and I stayed here for her birthday and this place was amazing! We stayed in room 30 and it was spacious with a nice view of the redwoods. The dock and backyard area to lounge is probably the best part of this place. It has the nicest area and dock out of all of the surrounding hotels. The scenery is gorgeous! The staff was super accommodating and allowed us to use the backyard area and dock after we had to check out. If you’re thinking of staying here just do it!

Stunning location, beautiful pockets for sitting & sunning, quiet, well maintained grounds and helpful staff - all for a great price! This place was picturesque and even if most of the areas food options are closed Mondays & Tuesdays when I was visiting, the abundant nature, available SUP/kayaks/bikes made up for my Eggo waffle dinner 🤭
I went up for a day visit to see my friend who was staying there over the 4th of July weekend. I really enjoyed the surroundings and the availability of places to sit out by the water and just relax. My favorite was dinner...I had the Boho burger. Friendly staff and the drive there was easy...it depends on if you take River Road in or take the scenic back road in which will take you through Occidental.
Enjoy!
Review for the restaurant: classy ambiance, good vegetarian options, friendly and welcoming staff and a wonderful evening view of the Russian river. They have an elegant bar with a self-playing piano and also a speakeasy downstairs. We got a glimpse of the property after - well maintained lawns, a beautiful gazebo and outdoor seating with fireplaces overlooking the river.
great location, unique property. quiet and comfy.
P.S. hot tub was not working.

Super charming resort on the Russian River. Loved the kayaks available to use. Views are great and plenty of places to sit, sip and enjoy. Rooms are updated and clean with very small bathroom in room. Be patient with getting hot water for the shower. It takes a while but is done when it arrives. Restaurant was really good.
