Just plain was a bad experience
Simply lovely. Great food, full bar and friendly staff
Good steak and salmon, and the grilled artichokes were delicious! Really cool building... looks like a fun place to stay
It's a place you hang out overlooking the beach / river, the food is magnifico, the bartender, Chris is entertaining, and the staff is knowledgeable of the menu. I particularly love the swedish balls, the Salmon, those are my favorite two but actually the rest thing I. The menu are delicious, trust me I tried all of them
Nice place to have a rest.
It is a shame. We had not such a great experience. I called a month in advance to make a reservation outdoors because we were traveling with a small well-behaved dog that could not be left in the hotel room. I made the reservation with the co-owner of the hotel Judy. We did it for 5 PM on Sunday, July 18. That day, in the earlier part of the afternoon, I called her to see if we could push the reservation to 6 PM since we were winetasting and a friend of mine came into town for one night and booked a room at the hotel so we could all have dinner together. She told me that she does not take reservations and never took reservations and who did that? I told her she did. I documented who I spoke with and when. I asked who I could speak to to complain being unaware that she was a co-owner of the hotel. She informed me she was and there was no one else To complain to. The conversation then became heated and I tried to de-escalate it, when she just abruptly hung up the phone on me during the conversation. Since my friend had already committed to the hotel room there, we went after she secured a table and we directly went to the deck. We had a lovely meal. We had a great server/bartender named Chris. The food was very good. And everyone had a good time. We spent over $400. But not once, did Judy come out as a business owner and make any effort towards Goodwill. I would never go back here again because of her. And it is a shame. It’s a lovely venue and the people that work there are very nice and the food is delicious. But I just found it extremely abrasive and an unprofessional way to run a business. It was more than 2/3 empty and she had concerns expressed to my friend about the struggle of running a business. You don’t get your business going by being rude and abrasive to people.

Chris is the best. Very attentive, full of information about the area, and a great storyteller. Ask about his world travels. Four stars for him. 3.5 for the Inn.
I'll definitely come back.
Good:1) Bathroom quite clean2) Nice spot to look out the river banksNot so great:1) Room damp and dark, windows facing the corridor which means no privacy2) Room has no sound proof. You can hear clearly sounds of next doors

Beautiful room and view of the Russian River!Very nice owner. I recommend this place.
We had amazing stay at the Deluxe King Studio “G”. I think your experience depends on the room you stay in. The studio G is their best room. It is remodeled with large balcony overlooking the Russian river. It was simple and very clean. The views from the room are awesome. The owner lady is nice. We booked queen river view suite but got upgraded to king river view room. The inn has historic charm. The location is near to winery, lake and beach. I just wish their restaurant was open. We stayed at Village Inn for 2 nights for our anniversary celebration. One day it was raining the whole but we had great time just sitting in the room, enjoying the rain and looking at the river view from the bed. It is one of the memorable trip.
I hate to review because more people will discover this fabulous jewel on the river!!! Wonderful service,, great rooms with luscious linens, superb food & wines & spectacular views!!! 5 star service & amenities in quaint corner of wine country. Too wonderful to forget! Romantic & fun! Thank you for great vacation memories!
