This place delivers easy to drink, flavorful beers. Their brown ale, Bessie, was a crowd favorite for our group. The porter, Agatha, and Wrexford, rye red ale, were also popular amongst our friends. We visited twice this week after having them on our radar for quite some time. The vibe overall could be described as a neighborhood pub. The place is nice and it's clean.They usually have some sort of food vendor, which is nice.It was odd that on a Friday night, there was no music at all. Maybe because of the games they have? But I'm used to even just a light ambiance. Feels like a well-lit coffee shop that has veers. Which I imagine has its niche. Overall worth checking out.
Hefeweizen beer was good, and the band, Delta By The Beach, was terrific. I liked that there were board and card games for all ages. Neat idea. Wish they advertised their musical events farther out into the future so that I can plan to go again to hear one. I usually have two or three choices on weekend nights and usually commit to the first one that sounds great.
